I think it's dangerous to assume the leaks are fake. Like I mentioned before, even if they're totally true (as interpreted by this one guy) it doesn't mean that it's going to play out exactly like that, and it doesn't mean it's not done well. I'm worried that anyone who thinks those leaks are purely faked will be immediately disappointed as soon as the slightest bit of evidence supports them and it'll color their opinions accordingly.

Reduce any of the FF stories down to a few basic key plot points and they'll all sound dumb, too.
Honestly, I'd say it's more "dangerous" to assume they are not fake. It's not even about the story spoilers. They sound like something that may be true or may be not, I don't know. But the part about the game's current state is just too outlandishly pessimistic to be believeable. It reads like a condensed neogaf thread. Sorry, I'd rather believe Tabata over a random 4chan user. Then there's the part about XVI not being produced if XV bombs, which is a ridiculous statement playing off the fans' fears. There's no way in hell FFXVI is not being already conceptualized by a small team. And XV failing is not going to make SE just kill off their biggest franchise. Again, that's not how a big company works.

So yes, I'm sure the leaks are absolute bullshit and no one should believe them. Hell, I'm even up for an avatar bet, haha.

I haven't read the spoilers, lol. No bet. It was a general caution. Based more on my experiences watching the leaks come in for MGSV, combined with the guy that originally leaked about Kingsglaive.

I've read a little bit more from the spoilers though, since people EVERYWHERE are talking about them casually. I'm more inclined to agree they're bullshit than not at this point as well.

I like the NA cover but I vastly prefer the japanese one. I think it's quite unique for a game cover.

I saw the box artwork, and.... WOW! Absolutely beautiful pseudo-mechanical beings, such majesty and menace. Kinda remind me of fal'Cie... at least the concept.... wink-wink...
They're
Pulse, Lindzei and Bhunivelze
You think I'm joking, but you know it's true Kappa

Gamespot interviewed Tabata with some new fresh footage of "Chapter 1" (I think Chapter 1 is also playable at E3 rather than just the Titan fight? I read an IGN piece a few hours ago talking about their impressions of Chapter 1 at E3. Although it could have just been a press-exclusive thing)

Really like those 3 giants, mysterious and epic.
Now we can say, these are not the crusaders esper from VI (even Tabata said they are not summons).
They could be like @BladeRunner said, Linzei, Bhunivelze and Pulse, or more likely Helios, Eos and Selene.

Hmmm... I think we'll need to agree to disagree on that point. The basic lore, which was carried over/adapted for XV indicates that
they wouldn't be Bhunivelze and his two favored children as the former is sleeping as a crystal and the latter don't overtly show themselves to the world. No, I think they're the basic equivalent of fal'Cie, maybe within the context of XV they're avatars of the world's deities, responsible for Eos' creation and probably linked to the Archeans and Crystals.
Yay, only Square Enix could create a cover art with so much juicy food for speculation!

That'd fit in with the world's naming conventions. But I don't think any of them are the Goddess figure from the Genesis artwork and logo. Also noticed, the one on the far right is holding a sword and appears to have wings, the one one on the right possibly has a mace-like thing, and the one in the middle looks like a horned beast reaching out towards Noctis. Darn it, we need high-res shots of these covers, now!

Now I see why they changed clothes.

Noctis is now a king, and his friends became the Kings Glaive.

They are wearing the same clothes.

It's time to get his INSOMNIA back.
