wow the chocobo footage looks really amazing, those lighting and also the texture on the ground. O_O
Love it^^

Also that hooded man "survived" is cool, but I expected that he's still in the game.
He seems to be a very important person.

I'm very glad you had faith that he whole time... I was beginning to think Ardyn might be the main villain-which don't get me wrong, I love his design and am very interested in his char-but I didn't want the game to just be Niflheim vs Lucis!
For some reason, I didn't see Ardyn as a villain (having doubts about Idolas being truly bad too, given the thematic background to XV). Ardyn seems to me more like a dark grey character whose technically on the same side as Noctis and his group, but his allegiances and methods cause him to clash with them. Rather like the Cid characters from XII/XIII/Type-0.

Now, I can say for sure, I do hope they continue to keep most of the game under wraps, and that I am going full blackout on the game after E3
I have a feeling that the gamescom/tgs and lauch trailers will be spoilertastic definitely going to skip those.

Why would they be spoilertastic? So far nothing they've presented has had any spoilers in it, people have even complained the amount of times they've shown the Duscae region. They've limited the amount of areas they've shown off despite having a large world for a very specific reason, they want to keep the game still a mystery. People don't like having everything shown to them, despite people thinking they've spoiled some big elements of the game, in reality we really haven't seen much of it at all.

that's much closer to the original design than I thought.
(if I can't walk in this room I'll rage)
Had a bonkers thought.
Final boss arena? I'd love to see the Crystal betray Lucis and ally itself with the final boss character for its own purposes while Noctis must draw on other powers (say his faith in those who accompanied him, hens the prayer-like "Stand by Me").

Final Fantasy XV: E3 Special Mission Playthrough
Do you guys think they could release the demo they're bringing to E3? I know that they said that they didn't have plans for it (iirc), but it wouldn't shock me if they did, considering that it's going to be playable by the public during the fair anyway (again, iirc) and that the might want to release something that actually represents the game, unlike PD.

Although, if they're going to do that, a better date would for it be August/September, I imagine.

Anyways, really excited about this and E3 in general. It won't surpass last year in terms of mere excitement and surprise, but I expect it to be nice enough and actually be meatier in terms of playable/tangible games. This is the year I've been less hyped, though, despite the likely announcement of a new Red Dead and an actual ME:A coverage.

The thought had crossed my mind. When asked about the frame rate and lack of polish on the Platinum Demo, he did respond with a "wait for e3". Most likely just referring to showing off more polished stuff at the time, but there's like a 5% chance they heard the feedback on PD and decided to let us all have a crack at that magitek factory from the January ATR or something.

Not getting my hopes up, but it'd be neat.

Just a show of hands (or say rather), does any of you guys feel skeptical with FFXV so far? Or do you feel 100% optimistic for the game?
I'm curious to hear where everyone is at with the game. Any worry, ups, down, confusion and so on?

To me, I just have to say FFXV has got to 'wow' me this E3 like how other SE games in the event have already done swimmingly. The game has a lot to prove for me, is what I'm saying.
I'm still rather unconvinced by the gameplay, and that's probably not going to change. I'm also cautious about the story and the game's structure.

I am totally sold to what the game is offering.

I don't know why the game needs to "wow" you right now just before you play it. It will/won't wow/prove to you once you play it.

It would be ridiculous to buy something you aren't sold on just to see if it can prove itself to you. They need to sell people on the game before its release.

Im 100 percent optimistic that this game will be absolutely amazing. I had fun with both demos. I like the sense of adventure just seeing the open road in this immersive beautiful world. I know Bd2 feels like they have to deliver a exceptional experience with XV,so i bet they have pulled out all the stops on this game, i feel like there will be so many surprises in this game that will blow our minds. I like the combat ,it is fun as well as satisfying and i cant wait to see what the progression\Skill tree is like. I feel like this is truly an evolution in Final fantasy being realized , i believe this is where the series needs to be. Taking the best of wrpg elements, inspiration from tlou in terms blending gameplay and storytelling naturally ,and capturing the spirit of Final fantasy,I say they have a homerun on this one.
