It wasn't used to outright defend XV's shortcomings though, you read it all wrong.
I purposly bought up KH2FM to not only point out the massive irony with Hey Everyone, but to show another S.E. game that factually had to meet deadlines and leave out content, only to re-purpose said-content in a pre-DLC era re-release, existed and managed to pull it off feasibly fine. Which is why i feel FFXV with the roadmap updates can potentially acheive a similar affect if handled well enough.

I don't mind deadlines where content is left out that happens with every single AAA game, as long as it's not made so painfully obvious(Prompto MT), (Blind Ignis how did that happen), and the story itself feels satisfying in it's own right where every character moment works(Prompto being an MT is a prime example of my problems with the story) where I feel for the side characters, and feel like they got enough character out of them, where things are set up properly, and I could skip paying for anything else to get a feeling of an actual complete story on release then fine re-release a superior version in some years time add improvements to the story, as long as those improvements aren't necessary for the thing to actually feel like it works.

Yeah the ending was great.
Love the game but the story execution overall was lacking for me, even the first half admittedly. So it's not about taking issue with ch9 onwards.
The concept for the overall scenarios were great, but execution was muddled up due to the chapter structure imo.
There's a reason why I never liked chapter structures for games - they make the events within a chapter very... shallow?
I feel that they disrupt the story telling process ironically enough instead of letting events flow naturally. Or it's the case with this game at least.
I can see that they tried to make each chapter focus on one single, major event and that kinda stumped the flow of it all imo.

Idk, i don't think its necessarily the chapter structure themselves being part of the problem. Games like Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii) had in-game chapters dedicated to various events yet still managed to pull off storytelling in stellar fashion.
I believe the biggest problem just comes down to the actual storytelling aspect of FFXV. With various scenarios that tend to do more telling than showing, along with wonky pacing in a couple of areas, and you have a recipeh for the feeling of something off in the story department.

I guess I'm just not used to games with a chapter structure. More often than not, the games I play just go from event to event and it felt more seamless that way, but you're right it's the storytelling and perhaps not the chapter delivery itself.

I hope you know that there's a difference between leaving constructive criticism that the team can actually take and apply to the upcoming development, and saying negative comments that only serve to complain with no constructive steps on how to rectify a problem.
It's always good to remember that there are actual people working on this game, which means being mean and abusive isn't ok even if you don't like something.
Disappointment is one thing and it's fine to voice it, but remember what Tabata said about feedback:
He will only listen if it is valid, and not just for the sake of complaining over nothing.

Same here, I didn't hold back either ok I did, because man, I'm feeling a bit salty right now.
SWEET LEVIATHAN WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU, was it graphics I wish they just used Unreal Engine 4, if it met getting something like this, the game would have been much better served for it, then when it reaches PC us guys will mod it and make it looks 100x better.
Then don´t expect your feedback to be taken seriously and please edit your posts instead of writing new one.

Remember that real people will be reading these feedback surveys. If you write in a snarky, abusive, and mean spirited manner, and just come off as a total dipshit, they're gonna click X on your survey and stop reading it.
Put yourself in their shoes, if you read that shit for hours on end, you're gonna start feeling annoyed and won't be reading as carefully as you should.
That's why I mean it when I say if you want to ask someone for something, how you phrase it is paramount to them actually listening to you.
It's called etiquette and people skills.
