Yeah the ending was great.
Love the game but the story execution overall was lacking for me, even the first half admittedly. So it's not about taking issue with ch9 onwards.
The concept for the overall scenarios were great, but execution was muddled up due to the chapter structure imo.
There's a reason why I never liked chapter structures for games - they make the events within a chapter very... shallow?
I feel that they disrupt the story telling process ironically enough instead of letting events flow naturally. Or it's the case with this game at least.
I can see that they tried to make each chapter focus on one single, major event and that kinda stumped the flow of it all imo.
