Yeah, the thing was that due to the restrictions before there was no almost difference between having Ignis control the car and having you drive the car. Now at least you can do some sick u-turns and waggle around on the road, and honestly that's all I want from the car in this game. I want to mainly just explore on my chocobo and have the car to take us between plot points.

That's lame, though. If you're not off-roading with it, what good is that?

Manual driving is for taking the fork in the road. What fun is there in having to stay in the lines manually?

Ehh I get your point, and understand it would be cooler driving off road at times, but for me that little bit of freedom, or the illusion of freedom, just makes it more worth actually putting it in manual mode. And yes the manual driving was made for taking the forks in the road, but like as I said, a majority of my exploring will take place on a chocobo and not the car. In fact I'm currently pondering with a plan to print out a map once I get the game and go through the game using that map, manually marking out where I've been and stuff.

this was so bad.

why they are f*cking talking about cup noodles and irrelevant stuff for one hour instead of hype-worthy content when your game releases in two months?

what a f*cking waste of time.

ffxv marketing is a mess.

the pro version will be ready, but tabata has reassured that the normal version is the primary version and that you dont have to play the pro version to get the full experience. they spent all their time and effort focusing on the normal version so that will be the core experience.
the work on the pro version has started, but they have reassured the pro users will have their experience on release

Nothing major but still quite reassuring.

You people are fucking ridiculous, I swear to God. We've got a new trailer out of TGS and lots of new information that people were excited over, then they end on cup noodles and suddenly everything is fucking terrible.

Give it a fucking break, don't stay up till 5 AM in the fucking morning or whatever the hell time it is to watch a Japanese stream that you can't even understand.

I'm sorry, but this just really pisses me off.

You gotta admit the ATR could have been somewhat better, even the obscure ones had at least something decent.

Though even i'll admit i'm getting tired as shit of the marketing complaints, its like, we get it, no need to smash skins with the dead horse any further.
