talking about style, the tgs art panel is complete:
Umm... where is Luna in this artwork? Is her appearance so spoilery that they can't include the main heroine in a chalk drawing? Lol

I have to agree. The only time where i perceived the camera crapping itself was in really tight spaces the player got unlucky in. And half of the time its like the guy somehow forgot to realize any time Arenea jumps in the air its a que to use warp strike and engage in aerial combat. All the emberassing players in TGS man....
All and all the boss fight overall looked bloody amazing to me.
Yeah both the camera and the player were really struggling. I can't tell if Aranea is really that tough or the player just didn't know what to do - most probably a combination of the two. I trust the camera issues will be addressed in the coming 2 months. Tabata looked a bit uncomfortable every time the camera spazzed out. As for the boss fight, it looked awesome - Aranea moves gracefully and dodges your attacks like a sneaky bitch (I like how she got back at Noctis for that face slam lol). I know she's a dragoon, but I do wonder how she flies in the air like that without magic? Maybe her armor has some kind of built-in thrusters....

What are the things (bomb and such) above Regis? Justice Monsters Five? Oh, I guess it's just a FFXV Universe thingy. It might not have any connection with the myth.

I was wondering the same thing about how Aranea was flying. I bet you are right about her armor giving her special abilities just like how Glauca was able to jump great heights and have super human strength. I bet Verstael creates these things for the Empire along with all the mechs and Magitek soldiers. Glauca had a red thing glowing in the the center of his armor. I wonder if the Empires crystal was broken down and used to make some of the tech they use?. I can't wait to find out more about it.

Actually, I've watched that fight a couple of times now and from what I can tell, she uses that little magic burst that her magitek lance does as a way to propel herself around in the air. It's pretty cool.

Oh I couldn't see so clearly in the video - it happened so fast! Was wondering whether it was her armor or her lance giving her that boost. Now that I think about it, the way her lance is designed, that section near the front is way too big to be decorative - must be some thruster action in there lol

Edit: Looked at some gifs... It's the lance

"According to Game Watch, their first impressions were “Whoa, this is really clean…” Recently they expressed disappointment in Final Fantasy XV‘s visual quality back at Gamescom, but the Pro version made them say: “This is what I was expecting.”

Game Watch also notes the graphics are more detailed, the texture quality looked sharper and the framerate is stable and feels very smooth. In particular it seems the level of detail in the vegetation and field areas is so much better than the original version."

It sounds like the pro version is the definitive way to play FFXV and what they must have envisaged from the start. I'm finding it very hard to resist pre-ordering at the moment. Originally i'd planned to get Playstation VR in October, but seeing how much the pro version could benefit FFXV, i'm tempted to cancel my VR pre-order and go for the Pro instead. I was wondering what peoples thoughts were?

In an ideal world, this would be the answer haha! I'm siding with the pro and VR later on down the line when there are more games for it. FFXV takes priority over VR for me
FWIW, that's a wise choice. VR is in its infancy. It's only going to get better and cheaper. Not much lost by holding off.

I've tried the PSVR. It's fucking neat, but it'll he some time before there's a lot of real content for it. The future is very bright, but you won't miss much by waiting 6 months, or more.

PS4Pro, on the other hand, will give you the entire life of the system. Could make games you already own better, and you'll definitely want it for FFXV. Those ground textures alone.

You have this particular Internet stranger's approval.

As you say, VR can only get better and as we move into 2017 more and more content will be released. It's not just FFXV which i think the PS4 Pro will improve, there's KH3 and FFVII Remake to think about as well. I think i've found my answer already. Thanks for your thoughts on the matter!
