I like Ravus In-game, he looks very evil to me, also his thin face makes him look like a vampire.^^
But when looking to his eyes, I just have this Sephiroth/Ultimecia vibe.
Remember, this is a General News Thread, loose discussions are fine in my opinion, but I'm glad that people have created a new thread catered towards discussion.
Hi, I'm sorry to hear that! We do our best over here, although this morning we had what some here would consider a partial slip up..Thankfully we now have a spoiler/speculation thread for all that.
@RetroPS4, that's cool. I was on this forum just before the Uncovered event and made a non-spoiler thread to discuss none spoiler stuff coming out of the event such as release date but got kinda busy so didn't really visit this forum for quite a while.
It's a shame as well that the official ffxv forum had taken to that direction thanks to some users because there are a lot of nice people there with interesting things to say and discuss. It's going into neogaf territory now with users who don't care that people want to avoid spoilers so they post a potential spoiler in a means to mock those who wish to avoid and getting approval from certain other users. A real shame. Almost put me off the forum completely.
Welp. So much for that previous forum appreciation thread, the (down-voted) comments from the third page in regards to spoilers were downright disgusting. Think i'll take another break from there.
Chapter 1 will look very different if you watch the movie beforehand.
I've said this elsewhere, and I'll say it here: when you decide to watch Kingsglaive will depend on how much you want to know for the first chapter or two of the game. Do you want to go into XV clueless like Noctis about the events that actually transpire in Insomnia? Or do you want the omniscient view?
Once you watch Kingsglaive, you will view the trailers in a different light. That's what a lot of people (and even the official FFXVJP Twitter account) have said.
This is super interesting. I definitely think it's safe to assume that most people will watch Kingsglaive before they play the game, for a number of reasons.
Gosh, really wish we could know the dates and theaters where it will be screening in the US. August 19th, right? Perhaps we'll know in four days, if we're lucky. But I doubt it.
I can't wait to find out where it'll be playing, too, though. I live up in NH and depending on how "limited" the release is, I could see me having to drive out of state to get to it.

Honestly, this will probably happen... South Florida is big enough to get considered a main tourist region but it's never big enough as NYC or LA, where all the things happen...fingers crossed that it'll premiere in at least one (1) theater near me. Since it seems like they're really counting on the West for the majority of the sales, I imagine it won't screen in only a few theaters?
Well Comic Con is like on the 23rd of July so we might find out more about Kingsglaive theatre showing situation in more clarity. They have confirmed that FFXV and Kingsglaive will be at Comic Con.
Well we know already that the yellow chocobos can 'glide' and that Tabata commented on the Black Chocobos saying "fans should be able to figure out what black chocobos can do" which is that they're able to fly in past entries.
