Is there any English articles that refer to the existence of "Cie'th" or something like in XV?
One Famitsu article said that "At night time, dangerous monsters called "シガイ" start to wander about the field."
シガイ means Cie'th in XIII. maybe reusing the phrase, but I want to know how those dangerous monsters called in English ver.
Well, "シガイ" doesn't really mean Cie'th, it is "shigai" which can mean corpse or remains, which most likely means that the enemy was a zombie or some sort of undead enemy.

The Cie'th are referred to as シ骸 which is "shigai" as well, the is Katakana which is simply just "shi" which also means death, the Kanji character "" has many different readings, however, when used with "シ" or more appropriately with (the Kanji for death, read as "shi") will read as "gai"; 死骸 reads as "shigai" meaning corpse being made of (death) and (corpse)

In FNC the Japanese character they use for Cie is written as (shi), and use it with to form "shigai" which translates as "Cie Corpse" while at the same time just holding the meaning of "corpse"; it basically reads as both "Cie Corpse" and "Corpse" at the same time which is interesting.

So, anyways, my point is, it's more likely that what they are saying that there are enemies named corpse at night, probably those enemies we saw in the trailer with the weird glowing magic they throw at you.

There was this speculation that the guy that looked like OG King Regis (RIP in pieces) could be Gladio's father, because of their big similarities (they even had the same reddish eyes iirc). I wonder if he's still in the game; I'm not too sure tbh. He was important enough to be featured in the keyart, at least.
Well they didnt scrap the hooded guy, so I think there is still hope that they haven't scrapped him as well.

Imsomnia won't be a explorable town, Tabata just confirmed on the Q&A.

:(
I never really expected it to be completely explorable, however, he did clarify that areas outside of the Citadel that we've already seen will be used as part of one large battle area in the game. Probably the areas shown in the old Versus trailers, so I'm happy with this.

There's a lot of random shitposting over there. This one isn't even noteworthy.

_________________________________________________________________________

Side note.

I am not convinced the rumors are debunked. I'm sure people are sick of hearing about this either way, but I promise you I wouldn't bring it up if I didn't have a relatively unique angle on it.

I've see L Spiro on gfaqs many times before. I am in absolutely no way calling him a liar. And I am in no way trying to say that the leaks are 100% accurate. I think the leaks are some employee's little shit brother or something like that. I think it's the "truth" as interpreted by a dumb 13-year-old mentality brain (real age not necessarily important).

Spiro says he does not appear to have inside information, but we know this is patently false. He got the name and subject of the E3 demo head-on, and the rest of his description could be accurate if it was described by someone who definitely isn't in the industry. I know this is going to bring up some John Edward-esque mind trick I'm playing on myself to find a way to interpret them as true, but I've definitely considered this angle. This is different. That kid, and I'm nearly positive it's a kid, absolutely had inside information on the E3 stuff at least. We need to proceed with that concession. If you are unconvinced, ask me to clarify before commenting on the rest. I could be much more convincing, but I am trying to avoid repeating the spoilers.

I can picture an intelligent guy like Spiro reading his description of the Titan fight and concluding that the kid was off his rocker and dismissing the rest. This, for a moment, downgrades it from "disproven" to still open. Some more of his details were confirmed with the Ask Tabata segment just a few moments ago. There have been several opportunities now where the leaker could have been categorically debunked and he has yet to factually miss a single thing.

Now, to be fair, I, myself have been arguing that there was no chance we could fully explore Insomnia. And it has always been an assumption of mine that Insomnia would be this game's Zanarkand anyway, so it doesn't prove anything in the leaker's favor, either. These are easy guesses. The number of summons predicted would not surprise anyone who has been keeping up. Easily predicted. But, with any prediction, there's a chance of failure and the hits keep on a'coming.

But here's the thing. These are only obvious points to people who are following this very closely. To have actually planned this out as an actual hoax would be a legitimate feat. To gain THIS kind of traction and still be getting all the guesses right fir this length of time would be a pretty legitimate feat for a pretty legitimately intelligent person. Nothing about anything he wrote suggests he is especially intelligent at all.

Occam's Razor, as I'm sure you're all familiar with, states that the explanation requiring the fewest assumptions tends to be the correct one. I subscribe to this. It's remarkably reliable. And I know it sounds like it would take fewer assumptions to take Spiro's word for it, but the scales have tipped, IMO. Too many failed chances to fail. I played FFT 1.3 for about 2500 hours, give or take a thousand. Even when you have an 87% chance to hit, you're not surprised to see a miss here and there. It's intuitively gotten to the point that instinctively, he should have had a miss by now. It only takes one and a half assumptions to make it plausible. That this whole thing was written by some Square employees dumb shitty kid brother and he was too dumb to convince someone who would have known he was right if the kid didn't word it like a moron.

I have a spectacular bullshit sense. I've read everything on snopes from cover to cover and I'm almost never surprised by the outcomes. I have seen every episode of mythbusters like 6 times. This is all I do all day instead of working, lol. I am not ready to call this leak debunked yet. It has smelled true to me since before I even read 'em.

I just can't wrap in my mind whether or nit that Topic creator is legit trying to shitpost out of spite, like, where were the sources of the negative reception to the titan demo e3 located (ignoring MS conference)???

Just...

1 thing I am legit angry about is that Tabata said that the scene where the boys go to insomnia to fight Ardyan was said to be towards the end of the game. Really? Why would you show the final boss fight encounter in a trailer and spoil that?

Perhaps because it's already been spoiled. Or Tabata is dead tired.

Well hey it could have been worse had they made a traditional story trailer

Hold up dude. I wasn't aware of any of that shit so why don't you spoiler tag stuff like that next time. I swear I cant believe the clusterfuck that has come out of this E3 from all the negative Nancy's over this game and people spoiling shit left and right. Such a fucking bummer. This site is turning into GameFaqs too it seems even though I said a couple of months ago how grateful I was to have such a great community over here that never delved into that kind of thing.

I'm sorry that you feel this way now and that this is happened, I agree, I feel we should limit this thread to news only as it's intended and keep any further discussion on supposed leaks or otherwise out of here for the sake of others. Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about the leaks and instead just focus on the content from E3 itself. The entire purpose of the leaks was to stir up the community like this, it was done by a malicious troll so let's just leave it at that.

Your anger can be directed towards the person I was quoting:

Tabata said it. During the questions.

I feel ya dude, its becoming hard to involve myself in any legit FFXV discussion without getting shat on or shitposted at the same time while trying to maintain a position mindset. Gamefaqs, NeoGAF, etc makes that increasingly hard to pull off.

Really thought this place would be above that, I want to continue being right.

Ok, I thought about it. Even though I was careful to make sure I did not reveal anything that was not already in this thread or confirmed by an additional source (like through officially released E3 footage) I can understand why talk about "the leak" should not be here. It can lead to no good.

I will not bring the subject up again in this thread. I would suggest that if a discussion is to be had on "The Leak" that it be confined to its own thread. I will not start a thread. If no one starts one, there won't be one.

TheOneWhoIsTornApart, I apologize for putting you in the position of feeling like you have been spoiled by the rumors. I will assure you that I have no information in there that isn't from E3. I, myself don't even know most of the rumors. I am merely interested because they've yet to be thoroughly disproven on any single point yet. A statistically remarkable feat that interested me, nothing more. I have no interest in turning this into a place to continue dropping casual spoilers.

Fifteen fan questions answered by Tabata.

Most of it focuses on gameplay, but there are some titbits. The game's theme song may have shifted to "Stand by Me", but the original theme "Somnus" is still in the game and still important. The Airstep and Engine swords have also survived to make it into the full game.

EDIT: It's confirmed that the group will be wearing the attire of the Kingsglaive close to the endgame, but why is being kept hush-hush.

There are only English article confirming that all of that stuff is out. But some people are still using the old terms for what people are assuming was based on Etro and the like as well, so it's most likely just them mixing something up on their end (Famitsu, I mean). There's no way they reverse that one.
I agree that they've said they're removing the terminology (so any Cie'th stuff is probably a mistake), but several English (Finaland, Gamespot, Game Informer May 2016 issue) and Japanese (Famitsu) sources stated that they weren't removing its thematic and design elements, even if they're not referring to the mythos outright. There's been no direct quote on the subject of XV being outright removed, only bulletpoint stuff and summaries as part of wider descriptions.

I'm not sure much discussion was done on this bit of news about the box art for XV, but it also has a reversible side which is just black with the logo. Does anyone have interesting ideas what the three figures are in the clouds with the blue lights? Also, there was a similar looking figure in the Kingsglaive trailer with red eyes, people mentioned it looked like Diamond Weapon.

Personally, I don't really know, but I know a lot of you like to speculate on this sort of thing, so if you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them.
