I'm glad this series can allow for some self-awareness and absurdity. To me, it shows the dev team are having fun whilst working. It's a shame some in the fanbase do not share similar appreciations.
Being too serious all the time would kill the charm.

FF7 was serious but you still got bdsm dungeons and muscly men in pantsu trying to buttsecks Cloud.

Good stuff.

A lot of the older mainline FF games had some type of goofiness/fun thrown in to help break up the serious moments. The only game I played that didn't really have that would be FFXIII.

i'm don't have a problem with the type of content, it's just that given the faults of the main game i feel they should focus on other things (ex: on the things they listed on the survey), there's so much they could do with this game.

in a normal situation i wouldn't feel bad for this, but the game needs to deliver content for their characters (+storytelling, +lore, and so on).

Like I said above, I think at this point we really just can't predict what they're gonna work on.

I'm not completely opposed to this content since I quite enjoy the fishing in this game, but I do agree that it would've been better if the time and resources went into the stuff you said.

Not a fan of VR but I'll give this a go if I ever get around to it just cuz I like the bros. It could end up being outrageously fun.

All we need is Aranea or Ardyn stopping by randomly to attack the party in a fishing contest and I'll be set for this lol

Im not following the E3 event closely since I'm busy but was that the offical Episode Prompto trailer? Or just a segment for the composer?

Very beautiful music. I foresee a lot of feels heading our way...

Edit: just clicked on the title to go through to YouTube. It's a guest composer trailer. Was looking on mobile and the title was cut off.

I think when you have time, you should just watch it for yourself sir. I think it will be worth it.

Confirmed via livestream that there will be more significant content additions to the universe announced in Gamescom.

Anyhow, Episode Prompto footage was the biggest highlight from it, was hoping they'd share more stuff of the Survey results but i guess they are preparing something for it later.
