To be fair, even if I'm tired of the same discussion over and over again, it's still valuable to talk about these matters, as there are also always new posters involved who could gain new insights and perspectives on things they would not necessarily be forced to think about more deeply otherwise because they're not affected or bothered by it. Just two days ago or so we had a discussion on Cidney again and there was a post about why she might be a good/empowered female character and I agreed like "yeah, actually some good points" only thinking it half-way through, but then every single point got ripped apart by another poster afterwards and rightly so for the most part. So I still learned something even after 2 years of Cidney discussions

At this point though I don't think there's much left I haven't heard yet - it's obviously a bad and embarrassing design and I agree with DrBretto that with FFXVI there hopefully won't be missteps like that anymore. Now, what really shouldn't be discussed anymore is the whole "What Versus could've been/Nomura's vision was so much better/etc" thing
