for sunday gamers or people not really that interested in square games, noctis and yozora look same. And they're not helping it by putting same cutscenes from versus xiii to kh dlc (car scene). In my opinion it would be best if they could wait a few years and just make versus and call it a remake of xv or whatever...otherwise it would just look stupid xd i'm just not a big fan of kingdom hearts and also it's super unpopular in my country so i don't want mickey mouse or other disney stuff in my versus xd i just really liked the idea of darker ff and never got over what they did with it xp i still enjoyed ff xv very much but you know...
My thoughts exactly.
I really wished to play a more dark final fantasy aka final fantasy Versus XIII. So they can wait for a few years to remake it and not like now a noctis 2.0 game with kh themes.
Perhaps the new game about yozora is not exactly like versus but a prologue of a versus epic.

EDIT:
Okay sorry for off topic
This new ff xv game on mobil is this only going to release in china/asia?

Translated titbits from above.

Episode Aranea was being written by Koichiro Ito, who also wrote Episode Ardyn and previously worked on the P.T. demo.

Episode Luna was being written by Toru Osanai and Tomoyoshi Nagai of scenario company Q'tron. Luna was also going to feature work by Yuichiro Takeda, noted for his work on all three Xenoblade titles (Also little secret revealed here, he was a plot writer for The Spirits Within but dropped out mid-production).

The plot for Episode Luna was all written when the axe fell. Takeda also had a scenario request for Episode Noctis, but it was cancelled before he fulfilled it.

PERSONAL BIT: Sounds very like the scenario would've been a lot more varied than in the novel. Four writers on one project, albeit working from the same scenario plan. Quite unlike one person doing it all with that same plan. Still, props to Nagashima for doing her best given the circumstances.

Instead of nomura making the same trailer over again but with kingdom hearts, why doesn't he go ahead and explain the real version of what his game was supposed to be? We all want to know.

well if he is reusing stuff like important plot points he would be spoiling whatever can potentially happen in KH / Versus Rex

I really don't care to know though. What's done is done. If people liked FFXV great. If not, great. The flaws of FFXV were not such a detriment that it turned into a deal breaker for me. I'm looking forward to what FFXVI offers in the future at this point, and seeing how much of FFXV carries over to that title.

Limit Break; Tough love. Physically and verbally abuses party members to raise stats and motivation.
(Note: this is a joke.)

EDIT: Art looks nice, though.
The idea of Gladio having an animation where he just turns to one of your two other party members, grabs them by the collar, and just starts yelling at them to give them a massive buff to attack power is hilarious.

Yeah, it just struck me. That kind of thing is probably more likely to be in a Yoko Taro game than any Final Fantasy. But then, I think Gladio would be well suited to a Drakengard setting. With all its positive characters and happy endings...

Guess it just makes it all the more fitting that Gladio's DLC was composed by the guy that did Nier Automata as well. Plus I guess FFXV is arguably the most dour entry in the series so it's as close to a Yoko Taro FF game we'll probably ever get.
