FTFY What I think is so sad about this, beyond it being annoying for some obviously, is that these very same people could be thinking of decent feedback to help improve FFXV. Instead some would rather throw their thoughts in a bottom-less well that has well...no chance of rewarding them other than with more disappointment. There is a saying that you should pick your battles. Why fight a battle that you know you'll lose?

The Leviathan fight was a mess indeed. That has little to do with this being XV and not Versus, though (note that I didn't mention the Nomura vs Tabata eternal battle. I think time was a bigger factor than one could think for this battle to be like this, although not the only one, as it wasn't very well planned or designed).
However, I would be REALLY surprised if we find out that, in Versus, we were allowed to explore Insomnia in a significant enough manner, beyond the initial setpiece with battles and shit going on and, maybe, the ending. Now though, that would have been better, much better, especially as I didn't find the beginning of XV to be very good. Also, mostly because of how little connection I had in regards to Insomnia and its people. I didn't care about them; I only cared about the bros and little else.
Also, you should try to stick to one post and edit it. Constantly seeing two or three posts in a row by the same person is annoying, especially when they're unfiltered rants.
I haven't read the latest one, but the one that talked about how Versus would have focused on hallucinations and that twist and that I actually liked quite a bit.
But, of course, it's Nomura and Nojima. If there is a way to fuck a concept up, don't worry, as they're able to find it.

I wonder whether Nomura/Nojima/whoever will revisit some of the concepts that they created/toyed with that didn't end up in XV. I mostly mean big ideas that weren't even touched in XV, like the one with the hallucinations would have been (as I have the hunch that, however badly paced and structured XV, it probably covered most of Versus' plot points).
In a way it's a shame that he's doing the remake, as excited and curious as I am (which is kinda hypocritical considering that I want their AAA focus on new stuff): after a series that I've been tired of for a decade (KH) and the XV fiasco, I wanted him to do something different, hopefully, controlled by a competent co-director and producers. Basically, I wanted him to do what they essentially did with VII (except with him directing this time).
Now he's basically tied to this for a good five years or so. That doesn't exclude him from producing other projects, especially as he seems to be working with a co-director in VII-R too. But yeah.

Tbh, i don't even believe the hallucination & etc rumor as i used to anymore. The more the guy went on about Versus made me took it even less seriously, the part with ghost Stella and Gentiana especially makes no sense whatsoever.
Amusing isn't it? Should give off a good indicator of which group should S.E. ignore for the better.
I'd rather have an existing base game improve itself feasibly than to abondon it in favor of pandering, with how the hardcore FF fandom work you'd still have people complaining about XYZ within the hypothetical Versus remake anyway (probably for different reasons).
