I'm gonna let @NoxFleuret and @Storm make posts if OG tells them new things later. I have to do things today so I won't be able to continue.

I will say this though. I can see Hex code for all of the maps, including several for Insomnia. I don't know how to pull image files from these files unfortunately, but I have a feeling OG will be able to do so.

The 2 keys that unlock areas in the city unlock 4 doors each. Again, unsure how far each take you and the extent of the city. I haven't found anything hinting at how large the city is or if we actually drive the Regalia in it (save for the quest we know that hints at it).

I'm looking forward to what is going to be revealed in the datamine. This reminds me of the days FFVII and FFVIII's debug rooms/ gameshark and all those unused assets. That being said, because this is a thread just for datamining, which is inherently spoiler territory, it seems redundant to place arbitrary limits to what is posted.

Just give it some time. It was too time consuming for me to do it but there are others probably doing it rn. @Storm have you asked OG about if he's finding stuff?

If people feel like they need to police each other then it's pretty clear that whatever you're doing is wrong. I've cleaned up most of the hostile comments from everyone's new best friend Alekzan and any replies.

This thread is about FFXV datamining, let's try to keep it that way. If you're not interested in this content, please don't bother people. Take any personal discussions to PMs where you can't bother everyone.

I'll take a look at the data files myself to see if I can find anything interesting. I ripped the Gentiana model which anyone who heard about the guy who did that a while back knows what you can find there.

If I can somehow datamine on a Mac I'd be happy to do it for the Benchmark, but I feel like waiting a week is a lot easier than doing all the work.

The most you could do would be to get the data files dumped and pour over them with a hex editor.

How extensive and tedious is datamining? How long did it take to pull any meaningful data from the benchmark? A week?
