carbuncle dreams (platinum demo and carnival), and child noctis and luna talking in an spiritual dream or whatever, now this... definitely not a focus, but its an element.

i forgot to add the "omen" dream noctis have in lestallum; i guess he's just a big dreamer since he sleeps a lot.

This means they decided to focus on something else. Which i'm glad.
At least Terra Battle melts better with FFXV.

I will say the Terra Battle collaboration does look interesting, so I'm fine with it for the time-being, and I was expecting there to be no info on the DLC Episodes, so I'm not too bothered, but at least one of the things we've been concerned about as of late from the data-mine is still coming, aka the Terra Battle collaboration, the FFXIV collaboration could still come at some point, after all, but who knows for sure.

The game was finished after the Royal Edition and I honestly believe we werent supposed to get anything beyond that. The only reason why we are getting any content at all is because of the FFVII Remake delay. I think FFVII, at least part one, was supposed to be out by this winter initially before they nixed Cyber Connect 2 and had to redo the gameplay/ battle system. I am surprised that they are doing Terra Wars collab considering Terra Battle 2 was pulled.

Plans can change regardless of their initial stance, so I personally doubt VII Remake's troubles had much to do with them being tasked to do extend post-launch content to fill gaps but more on the route they've chosen to plan & "market" them out themselves.

I am surprised that they are doing Terra Wars collab considering Terra Battle 2 was pulled.

TB2 is going to shut down, Terra Wars is like the next entry in the franchise if I understood it right.

You can see this in the trailer, she even looks to be playable alone without Noctis here in ths first pic, though my guess is once Sara meets Noctis they stay as a party of two.

Since 3 years ago SE and Sakaguchi have been flirting a lot.
I'm pretty sure this is going to end with Mistwalker melting with SE. But i don't know if they will keep their independency or if they will work in some IP that Sakaguchi started at the past (obviously thinking about FFXVI).
I can see SE planning two FF, one with classic ideas made by Sakaguchi, and another following the steps of XV.
Maybe they transform Terra Wars into the new FF xD

Can I just say that this collab seems to have an amazing sense of atmosphere to it and has some gorgeous lighting going on? Something I wish was more present in the main game as it was lacking in moments that gave off a sense of wonder and whimsy like this. I hope the DLCs will have some scenery like this, especially Episode Luna since she's a character that lends herself to that sort of stuff really well with all the flower and garden related imagery.

Just being thankful that even though Square is currently letting me down Capcom has been coming through for me with the DMCV and Resident Evil 2 remake news all weekend long lol. I'm hoping Square at least does something for FFXV's anniversary, not like an event or anything but at least some sort of info dump on a blog or something.

Maybe they add little things like it happened with Ignis haircut.

Some time ago someone shared here an image of an option to select the interactive button to be X or O. Was that a mod or fake? I still want that...

i think Tomb Raider's collab will be proportionally small to XVs side of it, so maybe a costume or a weapon.

there's no word about the longevity of the collabs, hope there isnt any.
