The environmental destruction was every promising. If perfected enough they could possibly attempt at revamping the Leviathan fight. For the PC version, anyway.
Oh revamping the Leviathan fight, so making it not shit? Hmmm pretty interesting, I'll believe it when I see it, I 100% expect them to keep it the same, but prettier graphics.

I think they will be doing that.

Seeing as they're going to so much length to make things as detailed and advanced as possible on the PC, I'd be more surprised if they didn't do this.

There will be no limit to what they can do on the PC version I'd imagine.

Although, are they willing to give an exclusive gameplay feature to one user base and excluding others?

I have a suggestion.

The ignore feature is a very convienient element to have. Since imprudent users such as Ilazy77 and Hey Everyone have shown zero signs of changing their dimwitted overall behavior, i'd like to chime in and help others save their breath and effort towards the two by robbing them of being fed attention. They are not worth a lick of any regard.

Seriously though this alternate timeline whatever for Final Fantasy XV better have more than just the Omen Trailer/ World of Versus for it.

I mean alternate timelines, alternate realities?, man they can milk Final Fantasy XV for years to come, It's genius I tell you genius.

I mean how many what if's call you tell.
Come on @Nova Come On @Lulcielid Come On @llazy77 There is so much potential here, I hope it's milked to oblivion especially if it means something

What if Ardyn was still the chosen king?
What if the events of Versus XIII happened?
What if Noctis became possessed by the Starscrouge
What if Noctis's mom never died
What if the mysterious god's never left?

Multiversal Chocobros crossover the Chocoverse a comic series that would be insane.

WERE NOT TALKING ABOUT A FINAL FANTASY XV UNIVERSE ANYMORE GUYS
WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A FINAL FANTASY XV MULTIVERSE

Imagine this
FINAL FANTASY XV EARTH-1
OMEN TRAILER EARTH-2
FINAL FANTASY VERSUS XIII/VERSUS XV EARTH-3

You know I might have a new found appreciation

Very good question.

I'd say it's unlikely since alienating console gamers will piss them off considerably.

On the other hand, developing the game further on PC unhindered by the limitations of the console may bring a lot of cool story additions and gameplay features that would have otherwise been impossible.

Pros and cons for both scenarios, with people getting pissed off no matter what option gets chosen: console gamers feeling cheated by missing out, and PC gamers feeling cheated because they missed out on awesome additions because of the console limitations.

I've learned to always expect the unexpected so let's see how things pan out.

This is all just for fun speculation after all :)

Well, I can honestly say I tried but to no avail.

I used the feature yday. It makes reading through threads a much more enjoyable experience.

Highly recommended feature indeed.

Why would alienating console players piss them off, console players don't expect their systems to handle what the PC can, there too weak. Unless console players actually think their PC is any where near comparable to a GTX 1070 OC, RYZEN 5 1600X, and 16 GB of DDR4 RAM Gaming Rig.

Hell by the time FFXV comes out on PC 2018, a good proper 600-700(my sweet spot for a build you don't want to upgrade for a long time dollar PC will outstrip the PS4 Pro and Scorpio by many miles those CPU's are weak trash, and those GPU's well mid range, no console players expect games not to be better on the glorious PC. With all the bells and whistles, multiple graphics 8-Core/16 Thread CPU, 64GB of RAM Elder God Demonbane beast.

I'm cool with features on the technical upgrade side + mild things like the "make your own quests" that Tabata mentioned(?) some weeks ago. But i feel that pushing certain significant gameplay content while locking them away from the bigger audience is rather scummy imo. I'd rather the game not attract any more slander than some give it currently.

I guess what i'm saying is that it should be more of a choice than a requirement of buying another platform in order to enjoy bigger and better content.

Beyond some technical improvements, I don't see SE giving exclusive content to PC for this title.

Gameplay things that these console couldn't run well to begin with? It's not scummy it's simply not letting the consoles hold them back any longer, especially in 2018 when this thing is released on Steam. those with 400-600 dollar rigs build in 2018, and those with GOD LEVEL RYZEN 7 1800X, GTX 1080 Ti, and 64GB OF RAM systems will run this games at levels the consoles couldn't even comprehend, with power the consoles couldn't even hope to attain.

We can expect some exlusive stuff like mods and graphical settings, which are pretty much standard for the majority of PC releases out there lol.

As long as they don't go overboard with unique content they'd like to add (i.e. not essential but worthy enough for anyone who'd like to give it a shot) then they're good to go. That way, both parties are happy in the end.

I hope they make it essential if that Leviathan fight can't run on consoles, or just couldn't be done at the time, do it on PC, make it greater than they could ever imagine, don't let the consoles hold you back, you want to be a technical showcase, then make it a technical showcase. Make it something that it's so obvious the consoles couldn't run this shit. If consoles players get mad, then tell it like it is, the consoles have weak outdated hardware, and we can't make PS4 Pro exclusive versions. MAKE PEOPLE DOUBLE DIP, MAKE PEOPLE SWITCH, MAKE PEOPLE TAKE THAT CONSOLE VERSION GO TO THEIR NEAREST DUMPSTER AND THROW IN THE TRASH(ok that's an exaggeration, but you get the idea, but let's face it some people will, and it will be glorious)

It will be 2018 man, it's time to face reality, the consoles had weak and out of date hardware before they even released, the PS4 Pro, and Xbox Scorpio are held back by these weak machines. The PC doesn't have to be in 2018 you could get CPU that outpowers all consoles, a GPU that crushes both consoles into the dust, for a sweet spot build of 600 dollars.( I mean you could probably beat a console for console price, but I wouldn't recommend that build to anyone, but hey I'd recommend it over a console)

9th gen hoping the consoles are just small form factor PCs with a different OS. wish to upgrade? no? that's fine
You want to upgrade? Then you can options galore.

NO MORE GENERATIONS
NO MORE OUTDATED HARDWARE
NO MORE INABILITY TO UPGRADE

Pretty much glorified Alienware Alpha with a Sony logo, or an MS logo, then Nintendo will get in on the action.

We don't know if the experiments they're doing could translate over the home consoles versions as well. I mean, they are testing out the off-road Regalia which Tabata shared will make its way to the home console version at some point.
