I would like to debunk something.

Your experience gains carries over to help you level up past lvl 100 if you're not level 99 before the update.

I thought once you reached level 99, all Exp would reset back to zero and you'd have to start earning them again to get to level 100, no matter how much Exp you had left over after reaching lvl99 (from what I'm reading online from others that is)

I've been level 60 ever since the nixperience band came out. I just went to the hotel in Altissia to level up x3 and it took me from level 60 all the way to level 101.

Time to keep wearing the nixperience band and reload my last save then. Best to keep gathering exp before "checking out".


Edit: This should be helpful if you're looking to earn a lot of Exp.

I take it that they haven't made it so that we can control the older guys in the free roaming mode, right? TABATA WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR.

I wish they hadn't wasted such a great design as Old Noctis tbh, best main character design by a long shot. He could have been a great design for XVI's main character, with a tweak here and there to adapt him to his world's aesthetics and style. Oh, well.

I have a question.

I've seen some people think that Tabata's new IP could possibly be Agni's Philosophy, can someone explain that theory to me?

The theory is only based on the fact that "the material is there to use" + plus being a "popular" thing among fans (this is based on Agnis being the second most viewed video JP S.E youtube channel).

It doesn't even make sense. He had nothing to do with that project.

Uhm, yes, he does. It's his BD2 team's project. He even personally introduced the last Agni tech demo in 2015 at the Microsoft Build event:

I wonder if APZ has heard something about Agni and/or XVI (considering his line of work, he'd have contacts with people in the know) or if he's just going by his own line of thinking and logic (like how XIV's team has been in a hiring spree under those requirements).

Anyways, I'd gladly play Agni if it ever comes to fruition, especially if it's a different IP and not a mainline FF, as a I don't want yet another mainline FF to have been known for years from a concept art video. I like the little we saw of the main character and the world (except for the riflemen), and the whole magic system hinted at there looks pretty cool.

That's quite cheap, actually. I wonder if we'll be able to have some sort of mini-open world to wander around (like a tiny part of Lucis where enemies respawn, there are NPC settlements, campsites you could miss...) or if it's going to be fully lineal.

Annoyingly enough, I think this is the first "leak" I wouldn't mind being true. XD Somnus playing uninterrupted, the Platinum Demo being accessible from the game, and all of the extra scenes mentioned would be great additions to the game, and even filling in the timeskip with another dream world scenario offers plenty of potential (goofy name aside).

thinking about it, we don't know in practice what Bahamut meant by "Reflection" when he made Noctis sleep for 10 years.

we know that the purpose was to restore the original power of the ring, but what did Noctis experienced there the game don't show. I'd say he dreamt about all that happened, and i wouldn't be surprised if there was a lot of guilt involved that he needed to overcome to reclaim the throne.

if this world of versus is true it could be a interesting addition, by entering Noctis dreams you can use past memories to develop his persona; the omen trailer could tie-in perfectly, the fact that noctis killed luna could be very well a representation of his guilt of not being able to protect her, since she died to support him.

dreams is already a recurring theme in the game with platinum demo and chocobo mog carnival, so the world of versus doesn't seem too crazy.

I always thought that Somnus should have been playing uninterrupted during that part of the game. Stopping and starting with a battle theme in the middle just wrecked the mood.

Somnus playing continuously would be like Someday the Dream Will End in FFX, where you're running through the ruins of Zanarkand, heading towards your journey's end with this beautiful music capturing the sombre mood. Such a memorable moment in that game. One of my favourites for sure.

I don't hold stock in these rumours but I honestly wouldn't mind if they turned out to be true.

If they don't, then I'm fine with that too.

I'm just glad that they're still working on improving this game, so I'm pretty lax about it all, even if I do have a few things I'd like to see added in.

Would be cool to get a Noctis DLC last as well then. Maybe itll cover some of the stuff from Omen, and some other concepts.

Most of it outside of the story beats were false though.

Ja, that's a very good idea by @Storm.

It makes absolute sense so if they used this as a means to expand upon the story by getting Noctis to delve into his past, then I'm all for it. It's actually a good section of the game to provide clarity to the players if you really think about it, especially the "entering Noctis dreams you can use past memories to develop his persona" part of it all.

Good area to delve into his childhood.

Hoping for 6 (which is a stretch of course) but realistically?

Not putting any stock into these rumors but it reminded me of something from the 2014 trailers never seen since that I always thought was some kinda dream realm or demon realm.
