Noce to hear!

But he also mention camera and hair being "diabolical". For the former, what did he mean by that? Did he meant in tight spaces or something?
I'm not too worried about the camera and minor graphical glitches. The team has about ~4 more weeks of active development before the game goes gold, then ~4-5 weeks after that for a "day 1" patch.

I'm not worried about this "day 1" patch that they will be making post gold status, I'm really worry how are they going to communicate this to the general public after giving their reason for the delay.

They've communicated the reason for the delay. We all saw it. That 53 minute demo. That was not acceptable to put on all of the discs. Imagine it's 5 years from now and you're stuck at someone's lakehouse with no internet, but there's a PS4, and you want to replay that timeless masterpiece known as FFXV. You pop in your hard copy of FFXV and THAT is what you get. And from what they've said, it gets far worse later on.

So, the delay is there to make that base version actually playable. Continued support/optimization will absolutely lead to a day 1 patch as well. But, instead of the disc just being a key to a digital download, it will also be playable straight of the disc.

Now, to your point, half of the internet will have a meltdown and a bunch of trolls will think they've had their moment when they tell the world there's a day 1 patch, but, half the internet is dumb.

For those of you that probably don't know, APZ has gone on record numerous times complaining about the AA in the hair for all the characters with a burning passion. So, that's why he just calls it diabolical. As for the camera, I'm not sure. I know in closed spaces it can be a bit wonky.

Good to know. I had no idea what he meant by the hair thing, lol.
I'm just going to go in expecting the imperfect camera. I played Duscae again recently. As bad as it can look in the enclosed spaces in some of that combat footage, that's a million times better than it was in Duscae everywhere. If they end up fixing it up, then great (and there's no reason they can't keep working on it, so it's totally plausible), but I'm just going to prepare for the worst there. I'll live.

I do not give a hairy monkey butt about the AA in the hair, though :p

Thanks for clearing that up. I don't expect camera in action games with similar construction like XV's to be flawless either way. I'm still game.

Dan is a nice guy. But he does and awful job of explaining the game. I think he has passion for FF but just isn't articulate enough in his speech. It might even just be slight nervousness.

Gavin would probably do a more genuine and pleasant to listen to explanation.
In don't want to sound mean or rude but it's difficult for me to enjoy watching gameplay with Dan fumbling and mumbling about the games specifics.
