I have kept saving money for Lightning since May and I have recently achieved my goal. If X/Χ-2 is released along with LR though...Okay, that would be a problem. So many good games this winter. Bravery Default is in my list too... I'm really excited!

@Sapientia Also, Open Broadcaster Software is pretty good, used it myself a couple times before my computer died on me.
Anyway, back to the topic, How do we feel about these new spells Buster Ruin and Icestorm? Personally, if there are more Buster and -storm spells as well, I'll be a happy camper.

Yeah, I'd like an over-the-top spell like that, but it seems to me that Icestorm is literally a single projectile that has the effects of both Blizzard and Aero. Though, they could be higher level versions of Blizzard and Aero, like Bizzara and Aerora or Blizzaga and Aeroga. Speaking of Blizzard, I really like that Blizzard is a tracking projectile like Fire, Aero, and Water (not sure if only in Dissidia for Water) are. Also, who else wants Water back?
Hmm, just thought of something, too. If we can have things like Icestorm that are Blizzard and Aero, could we have -strike commands with more than one element?

I'm too a huge fan of "My Hands" and definitely I almost cried at the ending the first time I played it. It fitted so well! As for LR, I don't mind if it will be a Japanese or an English theme, as long as it's an orchestrated one with lyrics of course, or a beautiful ballad like "My Hands". In XIII-2 I never really like the ending theme, too decent for my tastes...

My hands is really good for the game because Leona Lewis has a very good and enjoyable voice. Her range is also very, very good.

In regards to ability fusion, from what they've said you can fuse two abilities of the same type and level. I believe this was specifically mentioned as a way to strengthen them, but they were also talking about "combinations of abilities" which I presume are things like the "Aero + Blizzara" and so on from the Japanese version. They did not specify to my knowledge whether same type means the exact same ability, or just another ability within its category. I'm thinking probably the second one, since we got a brief look at how abilities were split up and there were three or four groupings.

That's what I got out of the interview, although we weren't actually shown. Using the ability synthesis option is how you turn Attack Lv1 into Attack Lv2 and so on.

It seems Fang have a rival who wants the holy treasure, and because of this she joins Lightning. You'll be able to use Fang's spear as well after completing the mission. Also, Toriyama talked about an interesting feature in the IGN live demo: the street musicians, like the guy with the pink hat, will play old FF songs, and depending of the moment, the musics might give you hints of what you should do next in the game.
