Someone posted my comparison pic on neogaf. They're confused where the bottom picture is from. If you are on neogaf can you inform them that the picture is taken from the Gamescom footage but not sure if PS4 version.

Cross posted from GAF. This actually kind of the key that solves everything about downgrade-gate.

Oh here's something interesting, here's the same shot from the Japanese gameplay video that came out about 2 weeks after the English one & was using an updated build.

Well, there's your primer. Settles everything, imo.

It all but proves that the images people are comparing are Xbox vs ps4. That gameplay clip was only two weeks after the Master footage. By Tabatas own words, that was not long enough for a major approval.

As, ChingleeTribal, the person who posted those pictures stated, the first picture was from the gamescom footage but it's not clear whether that's PS4 or XBone because the control prompts switch before and after that scene. The Japanese footage also alternated between the two, so it makes sense for that to be ps4 footage this time around.

Being that it doesn't look that far from the trailer, it's really entirely plausible that not only is this not PS4Pro footage, but its not even all that far upgraded from before (and by extension, not as much of a downgrade as previously reported, either)

Edit: for reference

53 min video (Xbox)

^TGS trailer^ (PS4)
And Japanese gameplay footage (PS4)

Edit: or not.. lol

Wrong.
My gif uses the 30 minute Japanese gameplay video that was posted two weeks ago, running on PS4.

Nice knowing there are three different events in which the game will show up. Even if they don't release a trailer (as dissapointing as that might be), we'll have plenty of things to discuss.

And I'm very happy the game is coming together from a visual standpoint. Even people that were very cautious said that that was about the only significant problem the game had, because the rest ranged from fun to, actually, brilliant.

Can't wait to see how the PS4 pro looks like and performs, especially after that French magazine/web (can't remember the name right now) said it looked great.
