I might be wrong, but didn't Tabata say in one of the ATRs the reason there's no climbing (like grabbing onto ledges and stuff) is because it makes no sense because of Noctis' warp ability? (I mean I climbed that building in PD quite easily and no Assassin's Creed parkour was needed) Again I might be wrong. Also I think he did say that monster climbing was technically still in, but I would think he meant it like jumping over the Griffin or jumping off of Behemoth's horn because I doubt they would add in a mechanic to manually climb onto a monster for no reason when 1) You can warp to them if they are far away and 2) I honestly can't think of a 2 cause 1 just says it all. Like, I don't think there's a strategical advantage that comes out of jumping onto a monster's back à la Dragon's Dogma.
