Did Tabata ever mentioned about that they are considering about the Versus days clothes?
No, and I don't think they will bother. Nomura created the clothes for the original cast as placeholders, they're under contract with Roen and I doubt they'd want to use the old mock up designs for actual clothing in the game.

The Glaive outfit is by far superior than Noctis and the Amazing Monochromatic Raincoat anyways.

If Noctis becomes King will he make Gladio, Prompto and Ignis his Kingsglaive?! It would be pretty epic if come the end of the game Noctis was suited and booted in Regis' gear and the others were dressed to the nines in the Glaive atire.

The end of the E3 trailer and Tabata's comments on the subject have already confirmed that they are dressed in Glaive uniforms, and with Noctis now in a suit, it's more than likely that they fill the roles of Regis and the Kingsglaive as they head for the final battle.

Something I'm curious about. The "Ring of the Lucii" Square Enix turned into a piece of merchandise, and that is the hereditary possession of the Caelum line. I'm wondering whether the last word is pronounced "Luce-I" or "Luce-E". I'm really not good on Latin pronunciation. Heck, for ages I was misreading "Glauca" as something like "Glausa"!

That looks like it may be a misspelling. I thought it was supposed to be the Ring of Lucis. I may be mistaken though.

Maybe it'll be pronounced how "l'Cie" was pronounced in FFXIII. Of course there won't be l'Cie in FFXV but it could be like a nod to it's original FNC lore with l'Cie having magical power.

It could be Loo see eye. In ancient Rome there were two great families called the Junii and the Julii pronounced Joo nee eye and Joo lee eye so it maybe pronounced that way.

Lucis is supposed to be Latin, and Lucii would be the plural, IIRC from my years of Latin in school, but don't quote me on that :D

EDIT: Wait, I think words ending on -is would be -es in the nominativ plural. Ah, noo, wait, we have to take the accusative here as in "The ring of the people of Lucis".

EDIT2: Ah, forget it. I have no clue :D Who knows if they even checked themselves whether they're using the correct Latin forms.

I doubt it. Though that doesn't stop their Latin lyrics and use of Latin in name and game/series titles being cool, evocative and thematically connected to the game's story and themes.

I'd say it's "Lucy-ee".

The thing about Latin is that there are a few different ways to pronounce it. This is because the original pronunciation was lost after the fall of Roman Empire but for many centuries it was still used as people's second language all over Europe. The pronunciation "evolved" differently im different regions, often accomodating some elements of the local language. Here's a nice rundown of the main four ways.

As you can see, there's also "reconstructed ancient Roman pronunciation" which is the closest to what Latin originally sounded like. You could say it's the most "correct" way, but it's not the way used in FFXV. From what we already heard, the game uses the English pronunciation. For example, Lucis is pronounced as Lu-sees and not Lu-kees.

But I also think that FFXV likely won't be very faithful to any particular way of pronunciation. It's a fantasy world that doesn't have to feature historically accurate Latin, so they may just go with whatever way makes individual words sound prettiest.

Interesting company, seems they are using the Streamframe project management tool internally for FFXV. As a developer, I love hearing about all these third party relations and software.
