Currently, Witcher 3 (I'm 80 hours in and still haven't seen even half of the game, I'd guess) and DQ VI for DS, as I never finished that one. DQ V is better, but this is nice.
Playing XIII as well. So many great ideas, a shame SE couldn't do more. Combat's really fun, and I'm loving every second of it (as long as I skip the cutscenes. There are too many of them).
Beat Episode 2 of Life is Strange. It wasn't too powerful, but it was good. Played Episode 3 and beat it in one sitting - WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT ENDING.

I knew that the cliffhanger would have been bad for me, so I initially decided to play 4 episodes within the span of these vacations I have (which conveniently end near the release date of the next episode), with some weeks in between them so I could have a little time to digest every episode and not wait several weeks for Ep. 5. Nope, curiosity stroke and dumb me decided to rush through all for episodes within the same week. God I wish I could rewind time (pun intended, I'm sorry). Now I'm with you playing the eternal waiting game.
I knew the game was somehow misleading me, since the pieces didn't add up. But God I didn't expect Jefferson to be the culprit (that is, if there's only one culprit). I speculated after seeing the evidence that David was also tracking what probably was Jefferson's car, but I didn't pay too much attention since the game eagerly wanted me to chase Prescott. I should have known better.
About the shot, I definitely did not see it coming, but I'm not that worried about it because Max can rewind time back to before the incident. Let's hope Chloe lives, I don't think the developers intend her to stay dead since she has a lot of unresolved drama in her life. We'll see.

I was the same. I tried the game out of curiosity, knowing if I got hooked, I'd be killing myself waiting for Ep 5. Sure enough, once I started, I couldn't stop, and hammered one ep after the other. These weeks are gonna be some of the slowest of my life lol.
Yeah, I expect Chloe to return. I'm just a bit worried about what sort of endings will occur. If there are supposedly multiple ones, then there'll probably be some unfortunate endings, but I hope there can also be happy versions, too. I don't want Max to kill herself using her rewind to get far enough back to before Chloe got shot. Who knows how much time has passed after she got knocked out? I just want the both of them to survive, save the town, and give everyone in the disgusting torture files events their comeuppance.
I've been making a few people feel that way. But you should - it's a great game. I'm all about story-driven games these days. This is one of my favourites since The Last of Us.
Outside of this, I've just finished a run through Resident Evil HD. A sort of local co-op with a buddy - he watches, I play. Was really fun to relive again. Plan to tackle Zero and RE2 when they eventually come out, with RE6 local co-op next.
It is. It's only Leon's chapter that has anything of the sort, but I soon accepted it for what it was and got some enjoyment out of it. Mercenaries was awesome, but it sucked that you couldn't use the unlocked costumes (like Helena's cop outfit) in the main game.
