Meh. No statistics.

Were you able to give the game a try?
Not yet! If time permits I'd like to try the game out this upcoming weekend. I can't say that I have the patience to wait hours in line, though, and I'd rather play a PS4 version, if you get my drift...

The division stuff was created in December 2013 after Lightning Returns was finished. Toriyama clearly said he's in division 1, which is the division Kitase is head of. We haven't heard from Yuji Abe, Nobuyuki Matsuoka or Watanabe since LR was finished so it's fair to assume they're working on Toriyama's game.

I'm not saying all mobile games are small, Mobius and Tokita's game clearly aren't. I just think it would be odd to have the likes of Kitase & Toriyama, regardless of outside perception of recent titles only working on mobile titles. I mean these two have directed & produced more FF titles than anyone else ever.
The division stuff has actually been in place since before even the Square Enix merger, actually, it's just going by different names now. It's been through different iterations, but it's no different to how FF9, 10 and 11 were all announced at the same time and were all under production by different 'divisions' (with KH also quietly underway under another) - and the thing is, most of the same staff ended up pitching in to all 3 games on a broad level anyway, which is why the divisions were (and are) pretty much useless as an indication of anything. Squirrel's right.

Oh, I know what you mean. But the division structure was completely different. At that time there was ten divisions including the two Enix ones and really only Kitase's and the online department have stayed the same. This current business division structure of 12 divisions was revealed by Kitase in Dec 2013 since between roughly 2007-2013 they always simply referred to it at the 1st Production Department for FNC, Dissidia and KH.
