In an interview with Famitsu.com, Shinji Hashimoto has promised more PlayStation 4 announcements in 2015.

Motomu Toriyama confirmed in December his new title will be revealed in 2015. Toriyama's project is almost certain to have Yoshinori Kitase, Yuji Abe, Nobuyuki Matsuoka and Daisuke Watanabe working on it.

Other likely titles include Dragon Quest XI, Final Fantasy XII HD, Lightning Saga for PS4, Final Fantasy VIII port, and a ton of Kingdom Hearts ports.

We also find out from this interview that Hashimoto really likes FPSes and plays games when he goes home after work. He often plays COD: Advanced Warfare, and also DQX with his son. lol

And possibly a title having to do with Toriyama? Don't tell me he's developing something on Wii U, lol.
Nah. I just don't think this new title has anything to do with him. Personally, I don't think he's working on anything substantial.

There's not going to be a lot of large-scaled games like FFXV in development. You're going to see a couple of those, some mid-sized stuff and lots of mobile stuff.

I would never say it's as big as FFXV. I'd say it's as big as a sequel to X or XIII. I mean Kitase, Toriyama, Abe & Watanabe can't have been this quiet since Lightning Returns and bring out a small title. That would make no sense.

Can a mobile game be more than just a cheap cashin? ;)

The division stuff you like to keep bringing up in what is probably now 90% of your posts doesn’t have much value. Teams merge. People get shuffled around. People get different roles. People leave. People don't always work with the same guys on the next project they work on. It doesn't really mean much of anything at this point.

Also...

You seem to have this idea that there is no way a guy like Toriyama can be working on a small game, when that small game isn't really small but you think it is because it's on a mobile platform. That's the point I was trying to make. Mobile games don't always have to be cheap and quick to make but something quite the opposite.

The division stuff was created in December 2013 after Lightning Returns was finished. Toriyama clearly said he's in division 1, which is the division Kitase is head of. We haven't heard from Yuji Abe, Nobuyuki Matsuoka or Watanabe since LR was finished so it's fair to assume they're working on Toriyama's game.

I'm not saying all mobile games are small, Mobius and Tokita's game clearly aren't. I just think it would be odd to have the likes of Kitase & Toriyama, regardless of outside perception of recent titles only working on mobile titles. I mean these two have directed & produced more FF titles than anyone else ever.
