Kinda pointless to do it only for demos instead of working on the pc one, like there's not really a bunch of people with cfw to even use it?
apparently he's working on it, since his objective is to transfer stuff from earlier demos (XMB files) to the final game (XMB2); this might just be the first concrete step for that.

The modder that did those Cloud and Squall outfit mods above and that did the "Versus XV" one just uploaded a fixed Versus XIII Noct outfit, with proper bones and materials.

Damn, that looks nice. Actually blends in pretty well with the Kingsglaive attire too. Something that's always bugged me about Noct's current wardrobe is that it's all either too casual looking or too regal looking for when you're just messing around in the open world. He doesn't really have anything that looks super combat oriented. So Noct more often than not ends up sticking out like a sore thumb to me whenever I equip the guys with their KG outfits. Really hoping the Versus outfit is an unlockable for Episode Noctis as a sort of final parting gift to bring things full circle with the design that started it all.

There were other people working on stuff for pc last I checked, and the formats are apparently totally different too.

That's why it looks kinda pointless to me. Small pool to work from, and ignoring the easier pool to test with from pc to begin with, from the updated formats doesn't make much sense to not sit down and work over the differences to make it all compatible to begin with.

I was thinking about the importance of the Moon in the game, implied by 2 pieces of unused content but also in the credits of main game and Comrades; as we know, the unused descriptions of Chapter 13 and 14 reads as

"Immediately after Noctis was pulled into the Crystal, he was confined and/or imprisoned within an odd space."

All of the Phantom Swords (Royal Arms) collected thus far are scattered around.
Noctis isn't aware of the situation of the Imperial capital, or of his friends."

"Angelgard, so strongly protected that none may enter, not even Ardyn. Noctis continues to wait collecting moonlight for the Ring, earnestly hoping for the safety of both his friends, and the world."

When the moon has all but disappeared, an exit appears within the prison, and he hears the voice of a god that says "The time has come". By the time Noctis has gotten all of the power of the star, and has left the prison finally, ten years have passed within the world.

it seems to me this side of the plot was "removed" to make things easier to understand, but it still seems to be present.

World of Ruin was only totally covered by darkness during the end of the 10 years, but the moon was still there and visible for the most part.

"And the moon is the only light we'll see"

the Nidus poisoning the planet

so what happens then? as time passes, the moon and sky begins to turn red and monsters go rampant, this only lasted for a period of time.

and then the last ray of light, at this point the ring is full; the ring was charged entirely by the light literally coming from the moon.

I would say Noctis remained in prison sleeping during all this time; anyway, just some thoughts I wanted to share, unfortunately the game only provides fragments that implies a certain explanation but it doesnt outright explains it (the problem of the lack of story exposition, once again).

Maybe the sky went from red to green because for all we know, someone could've destroyed the giant Nidus', as we know, when Nidus' spawn, miasma was rising from the ground and the lighting around the area it spawned made part of the sky and the area around it a reddish tint the sky, and when we defeated them, the sky and area went back to normal, and if that's the case, the giant Nidus' disappearance could've caused the World of Ruin's sky to look the way it was in Chapter 14, but this is speculation, mind you, I could be wrong.

I know Nov 29th is only like 1.5months away, but the anticipation of the 2nd anniversary update and info on the new DLC is killing meee
Just a warning to temper your expectations but we're not sure if they'll even do anything for the 2nd anniversary at all in the first place let alone something substantial. It's a good guess for sure but if BD2 is having trouble delivering on things we were actually promised I wouldn't hype myself up for something we were never promised at all to begin with like a special anniversary update of any sort.

It was said in the last direct stream that they have some surprise for the second aniversary.

The only thing I think they could possibly announce is:
-The 4 DLC Episodes trailer
-The Final Comrades update

The only surprise:
-New magic (Like Protect) which was based on the survey.
-Hard mode
-FFXIV Special event
-Having Cor, Iris, and Aranea be playable in Chapter 15
-A new boss/ hunt: Ultros
-And the most possible least likely aspect: having an explorable version of the other continent.
Edit: **most least likely possible aspect. lol

And implement Brotherhood+Platinum Demo into the game.

The brotherhood chapter would be great, , focusing on Noct and Regis ending with a Maralith fight but that is a shit ton of animation and cutscenes they would have to do.
It's a lot of work. But is the most needed content to tell a cohesive story.
How Noctis was chosen, when he met Luna, his relatiok with his father, and what ties him to his friends.
I would not care if they put the flashbacks directly from brotherhood, to explain the 3 bros stories, but everything related to Maralith,Regis, Luna and the Chosen has to be made with the game engine.

thats actually a pretty good theory, indeed the lighting gets red sometimes in Comrades but never associated it with the Nidus dying, maybe they are related.

Sylva, and he knows something but he's not currently sharing.
he definitely knows something about the story (related to certain characters) and, in his opinion, that something is going to be divisive (unless it gets changed before release, which he suspects it may happen).

Damn, now you got my curiosity.
I want to know so bad :(

But i understand his position about not sharing it. I'm really burned out of people making a big ball of tragedy from any information that's leaked. Hearing them resurrecting their bad opinions about the entire game...

I hope we can get good news soon.
