That area is just Duscae, in this screen on the left you can see the same rock formation thats behind the machine as well as the water tower, the other buildings are hidden behind the rock.

In this gif you can better see the buildings as well as the street:

Looking back at this, Duscae changed quite a bit in the final game, all the mountains and rocks are completely different and the watertower and buildings were replaced with different one for some reason:

No, it's the unused outside of cartanica dungeon, if you go there by glitching/hacking you can realise that there was a whole ways there

am too lazy to get proof but
at the start of the video you can see the crane, the monster in the red sky is also unused but appear as decoration in gralea.

sorry for my english

That video is just showing the final version of the Caestino dungeon in a half loaded state, it's not showing any left over original stuff. All environments of the games second half are on the same map, loaded using triggers. When gliching there without activating the trigger only parts of the environment are loaded by the engine automatically. This works the same for Tenebrae and Gralea.

That this is the regular Caestino dungeon is also confirmed by the minimap, which shows the dungeon map (this is triggered by the engine checking the player characters coordinates on the map.)

All the other dungeons in the game work in a similar way, if you glitch into them not using the correct entrance they will not load correctly, some load more, others less. And for Caestino the trigger is interacting with the elevator, the loading screen there is not for loading a different map, just teleporting you to the dungeon and loading its assets like when using fast travel.

Then flying Daemons in the sky you're talking about are Gaylas from the data on a monster list, apparently, and from what I've heard, they haven't been seen since FFVIII.

well yes, they appeared in the sky of the trailer, and then they are actualy in the game in gralea if you look in the sky, but it's just decoration

they are absolutely majestic tho

That crane asset in Caestino was also a crane placed in Duscae in the 2014 red sky clip, which would imply they probably originally intended more cranes to be placed around places. Btw that same crane is also used in Monster of the Deep at a fishing spot which is supposed to be near Crestholm in Leide.

As for the red sky itself, I tried to get it to activate on the debug mode, and basically what happend was I was just flicking through different lighting settings until I saw the red sky one by chance, but the thing is the red sky was only active for about 1 hour in game which was only a few minutes, and it started around 7pm in game when it starts turning dark, then it turned red, then turned back to normal night time afterwards. I don't know why it was like that but maybe the red sky itself was supposed to be something related to a specific time within the game.

Oh, yes the crane thing is the same as in the trailer, but what I meant in my original post was that the scene in the trailer was not showing any cut areas/conent, but just Duscae with the crane and flying creatures placed into it, which they maybe did because Caestino (and Niflheim as a whole) was not in a presentable state back than and they wanted something to represent the later part of the game.

Hm, if the crane in the trailer wasn't just placed for trailer purposes it would mean that the cranes were supposed to appear in more places later in the game, possibly after the timeskip, but that would mean there had to be a reason for these cranes/excavators to appear, like being used to find something, maybe to dig out meteor shards in more places for energy like now in comrades (were it is never really explained where all the shards come from I think).

Interesting, can you show any screenshots of that red sky that you activated if you're able to?
