A lot of tweaks actually. I'm afraid they're only going to add new things but not adjust existing things. Even something as little as changing the sound effects and adjust or hiding UI in certain areas would make the game feel a lot more fresh and modern. We'll find out in two weeks I guess.

no guarantee, its clear they wanted to make a big dlc to justify a new edition / hype up windows version as well, doesnt mean future dlcs will have similar quantity of content.

'secret' Comrades ending has been on my mind for a while now. I get that it shows the bros talking about the Glaives and their sacrifices, but it still seemed like an out of place cutscene and one that made no sense, until all of this came out. Just the fact that Noct says "we have a long road ahead of us" always made it seem like it was foreshadowing something more on their journey to Insomnia. Hell, that section always felt like it was supposed to be a long road, and I kind of think that's what we're gonna get, but as people have mentioned, it's best to not let expectations run wild...
Anway thanks to all the posters with the leaked info for all the hard work...guess this XV ride never stops.

Yeah, there's a very weird disconnect right now. That scene takes place when you reunite with the bros, but it's only seen in Comrades, so its placement is a little odd. The scene where Noct wakes up, and this scene kind of needs to be be integrated somehow into the game, but alas, time will tell how they handle this.

Ray Chase is a fan like all of us and he even wants Luna, Aranea and Iris as playable characters. So much insight into how development for DLC works (he has not been asked to come in yet for 2018 DLC recording content yet)
This also indirectly confirms that the Royal Edition is not part of that 2018 content they plan to release (meaning it probably was the plan all along to do it after Episode Ignis to some extent)

20. What can you tell us about the ROYAL EDITION? Is there anything we should specifically look forward to?
There was a lot of extra recording for that edition! The extra dungeon at the end of the game should have some really interesting boss fights, and a lot of emotional dialogue with another character who didn't get nearly enough screen time...

This tells me that they did not record stuff for the 2018 updates yet as paperchamp said.
So if the Royal Edition is meaty, then I wonder just how much content we're going to get for this year?
Be mindful that the Royal Edition is coinciding with the PC release, so future updates may not be as meaty since this may be a one time off special to increase sales for the PC.
I'm not gonna lie... it's weird when the actual voice actor for Noctis thinks that even the MVP didn't get enough background story in the game...

To sum it all up, Versus and FFXV were more similar than initially thought since they kept a lot of stuff. That's about it, and that's all you should take away from that thread lol. Don't think too much about it.

Seeing as they've yet to work on the 2018 stuff, Noctis will get more stuff done on him so it's nothing to worry about.

and became even worse. Speaking about FF thread, everyone here well informed about their behaviour there. Except Koozek, Ishida(Ishiro) and Bazztek everyone else, well, not logical and constructive at all.
And this so called information, even if mods approved, is just a rumor to fire up the flame. I cant find any bette place like this to start . And you know why? Because this forum is the only one left place, where ppl can have calm normal conversation among both sides, and not go into BIG MESS. This is the only place where false information in 90% cases wont appear and spread. People who got info from here always sure in truthfulness. And most of the time, even if its a rumor, no one going to Resetra aka Neogaf to spread such rumors.

Ehh I dunno. I don't think resetera is a bad place. But one thing I do know is that the Final Fantasy and FFXV community at resetera is fantastic. So I understand your point but I wouldn't worry too much. As for the spread of information, that just happens. Plus this is what attracted me to Mognet Central in the first place. I've been looking for a great community like the FF community at resetera, but more active. Hopefully more people come over and join us! I understand your issues with resetera, but I really think the FF community is an exception
