People whining over Luna being a "weak" female character can finally shut up.
Not that you should judge such things by pre-release trailers.

Well, she didn't really do much of anything, but she looks cool. Looking forward to learn more about her at the ATR.
I guess she didn't, just kinda annoys me how much people are over analyzing her character, when all we had was her sitting in a chair.

Her character now seems to imply regrets about that incident 15 years ago, and that she wont be afraid of the soldiers anymore.

Concur. Pouting while pushing a gun out of the way doesn't scream strong personality, but it was a bit badass, admittedly.

What's more cool is the artwork of her reaching for the Trident. Now THAT is intriguing. Want to see her in action wielding that sucker.

Trailer was... nothing exciting to be honest. There's still no context, so I can't draw conclusions. So much for extended, when it was far shorter. Well, there was less crying, so can't complain.

Music is still great.

Now i think this may explain how Altissia and Leviathan scene began.
BLACK HAIRED GIRL!!!?
Is she Luna's advisor? The same way Ignis is to Noctis?

I need to point out that we finally know what Hime-chan wears.

Still no name though.
I get the same vibe from her with FFX Lulu. Black dress, black hair. But the difference lies in the weapon. Lulu have plushy dolls, but Hime-chan wields a spear-trident combo. Which reminds me, there was a female dragoon in the FFVersusXIII trailer. Could that possibly be her?

Man, that trailer was rather boring...(And the extended version, is somehow shorter.)
These recent showcases for XV have been questionable. I understand that they are trying to keep some story elements under wraps, but they can definitely do a better job than this. Waiting till March of next year just to get a wholesome showcase of the game also seems really unnecessary.

At the very least, ask Nomura to edit a proper trailer for us to absorb.

Honestly, I actually think this trailer helped by making Luna actually do something and giving us a better idea of what she is like. She has been frequently criticized and we've been told she's strong willed, but it was never clear. Here, though, I can see that determination with her and the soldier. And while I think we wouldn't care if they had just called her Stella, I think it goes a long way in giving her a better impression and give more interest for her character.

At least, that's how I feel. No matter how the game turns out, we can't turn back time and get Versus XIII and Stella back. But I personally am looking forward to seeing more of Luna now. So the trailer achieved something. ;)
