nice guesses about Ep Ardyn: medieval setting, more about the Lucis Caelum line and the establishment of the kingdom of Lucis, Astrals will most likely appear; Gilgamesh as well... and the dlc will make me cry, thats almost certain

Does anyone else think that the Platinum Demo would have made a much better chapter 0 than what we got? It also basically can lead right into the citadel cutscene in the game opens with right after. I hope they can put more Noct childhood stuff in, that and namely Dawn trailer stuff would be sublime

I don’t think it’s canon either but it’s interesting how popular that ending is.

Did Tabata day that in an interview? I don’t recall. Too many interviews for me to keep track of.

As far as story updates to the main game goes, whatever update/expansion they do they should focus and involve Noctis, this mean I don't want anything like chapter 13 verse 2. FFXV is Noctis story, while the game is not 100% Noctis centric with some cutscenes taking place outside of his POV, most of the game is still from his perspective, so in order to keep the narrative more consistent and Noctis focus I say don't add (playable or not) scenarios where Noctis is not present. If they are going to add story related stuff outside of Noctis POV then insert it outside of the main game (like the Episodes DLCs)

Since Luna was the second most request character to get a DLC by fans I bet Luna will be the second one.

I don't know what the third one would be.

Personally hoping a 3rd one throws away the character episode aspect and purely expands chapters 10-12/Northern Niflheim and Tenebrae in a significant way. Either that or a free, huge patch just comes along and does it while someone else does another character DLC (there are multiple FFXV directors now). I'm fine with either, but I just want the 2nd half of the game to be expanded greatly. Luckily Tabata has said that's what they plan to do, so lets see.

so i automatically received 3 cosmetics dlcs (including two regalia skins: cindys, gold chocobo) for free for some reason; i mean, does that happened with anyone here? maybe they are giving them for everyone now?

Wow.. Ardyn is really rocking that red colour quite well.

Of course Ardyn would wish us a Merry Xmas while stealing a shipload of presents lol

Where is that from? I checked their twitter account and it wasn't there.

That is quite lovely. Never heard of this series before though.

Japanese games never disappoint whenever it comes to the music.

Somnus isn't too far off, except it has a more melancholic and tragic feel to it. Still heavenly to me though. I guess that's the closest a FF game has come to being similar to this track.

Somnus is Somnus; it's great, but it's very somber, and since XV underwent those changes it hasn't quite felt the same.

As to SaGa... Basically, it's got some wonderful music, and it's where both Kenji Ito and Masashi Hamauzu first flexed their composing muscles. Just don't try to understand its gameplay systems unless you're a genre veteran. I makes The Last Remnant look simple.

i played Romancing Saga 3, the gameplay is not that complicated, but its definitely more than your usual rpgs (and harder too).

had a blast playing it btw, really need to try the other ones (so many missables tho...).
