"When you pay 60€ for a game you do as much as you can with it... even if its a chore"
When I see comments like these, I think to myself, "Is that amount truly life altering, significant, and insurmountable that people treat it as more important than their time? Something that they can never get back?"
Money you can get back. Time you can't.
It's legit one of the dumbest reasons I've ever come across for people to justify forcing themselves to play a game they don't like for 100+ hours.
If you don't like a game, get a refund and get something else you do like. Not that hard...
Jubileus you havent seen more stupid comments..I saw today, that ppl blame Tabata and FFXV for failing Hitman... I swear, there is no limits to humans stupidity.
@Jubileus I was eye rolling over that, its basically someone admitting to being nonsensicly stubborn over a product that didn't lit their expectations on fire, despite having a clear choice of dropping it earlier on. Was complete cringe reading such a poor reason.
"It's interesting considering, from a metacritic standpoint, FFXV is the lowest scoring core flagship release, as in a full numbered entry, aside from online based, in quite some time."
FF1, FF2, FF3, XIII-2, Lighning Returns.... yeah do an actual fact check next time, mate.
I don't get some people. I guess I could call it time investment syndrome. "Oh I've watched this/read this for X amount of episodes/chapters, so I need to finish it or it'll be time wasted". Some people will go balls deep into something knowing damn well that they aren't enjoying after a certain point. You can have no doubts these are the type to complain at every single turn.

So... they acknowledge that they've wasted time on something they don't like so... the "logical" conclusion they come up with is... to waste even more time on it?
It took me 30 minutes but my god that was a rough ride.
Fire heals them I think? I was using spells to make the battle finish quicker. Thunder and Blizzard was helping a lot but when I used Fire for awhile, I noticed that their HP either went back up or it wasn't doing very much compared to the other spells...
As for the current timed quest
At first it took me 28 minutes, takes me 16 minutes now to kill them
I did it like 11 times and will do more for QP.. and last time I saw I ranked 12 Y_Y
Spells in general are not much of a help ..
I focus on break and counters (great sword), polearm/daggers for blind side and link strikes (cuz it's fast), and Armiger/techniques (Gladio will get you 39000 damage if timed right, Prompto Machinery might reach 30000 damage)...
O and Adamantoise meal (600 atk and 4000 hp)!, Acc heavy defence.
Warp spots are all around and very helpful maintaining MP and will strike enough to "Vulnerable" the monkeys.
This quest is active till 23 May, does not mean you can go through and fight, it means the points you gathered fighting those monkeys will still be valid to exchange for items.
Next quest is on 16 May.

Maybe best discussed in the "Spoiler" thread. Or at least marked with a Spoiler.
Incidentally, has everyone seen the footage of Kingsglaive running in a real-time graphics engine? Small scale relatively speaking at the moment, but still... DANG!
