You can't really spoil a demo, the only parts we don't know are the ones that are most interesting.
The summon, the boss in the dungeon, what other enemies are in the areas around the dungeon, the Phantom Sword information, stuff about Noct's red eyes. Lots of stuff we don't know about, we've only seen the general area and how the game controls, not much of a spoiler...

I have to disagree.

You said it yourself, we don't know much about the other stuff. However, we do know a few things regardless. Some people would've been amazed to discover free-running in the game, or that the game's monsters have their own ecosystem. To experience these things would have been completely different from simply spectating. A demo can be spoiled to various degrees. Watching 40 minutes of gameplay could always diminish certain aspects of the demo for some people. It just depends on what people value. When advertising is done right this happens less often, but it always happens in my opinion.

I loved the buddy trailer and the sparring match with Noctis and Glad, so cool to hear more English in some fun scenes
