Paying for something like that is a ridiculous idea.
Nobody said it would be paid DLC. The Evil Within offered it as a pre-order bonus. I'm not sure what constitutes a CERO Z in Japan, but they are apparently less lenient with depictions of violence than the West is.

In any case, Crisis Core was still able to obtain a T rating despite its ending. I'm reading ESRB's rating summary for Type-0 HD but I can't quite figure out what they consider crossing the line. Are they against blood shedding as opposed to blood being present to indicate death?

You can have a dark story without blood and guts being thrown around like a Hostel movie :) I think stories like the Arkham games prove that. I think this will be a story that's dark in it's subject matter, and it's story and events rather than gore. I'm not saying anyone is assuming that, but just saying :p

Wow the lightnings and animations are just godess, want that demo gameplay on HD!! ;_;
But those slowdowns/hitstuns, when Noctis attacks an enemy are just so bad, dont like it.
This feels so wrong and boring the gameplay, only the fight with the phantom sword was just beautiful, all those attacks were smooth and was fun to watch it.
Why not an option for those who want smooth attacks and those who want slowdowns. ;)

Anyway I created a map with all (nearly) confirmed and speculated locations/places.

I think that the borderlines lead off the othe kingdoms/Countries. I also think that niflheim, tenebrae and solheim aren't on this map.I imagine they would be larger cities like Accordo-Altissia and Lucis-Insomnia. I looks and feels unfinished. Of course it's all speculation. Just thinking about the possibilities and how close we are to getting the full game gets me all giddy and emotionally euphoric.

Good ( and overloaded ^^) map, but there's way too much unkown atm to make assumptions about the locations of Tenebrae, Soheim, etc. The only things which are certain atm are the demo Duscae region, Lestallum and Accordo. Lucis is also pretty much confirmed. I've posted a map a few sites ago.

I've been looking for a piece of info but can't seem to find it. Is the demo the entire Duscae region or just a portion of it?
I thought I saw an interview a while back that said the demo was a tenth of Duscae, but it perhaps turns out they were referring to the entire world.
Surely they wouldn't include the entire area in a demo, right?

It's just a part of the Duscae region. There are some numbers out there about its actual size but I wouldn't take them as fact.

Yeah there doesn't seem to be enough large cities on the map for each nation.
There is one city in the middle which could be Tenebrae.
Perhaps the other 2 are hidden? Solheim could actually be housed within the large volcano. Wouldn't be the first time in a FF game.
Nifelheim means Mist home or something along those lines and many believe it will be in a snowy or mountainous area. But what if it was in the clouds? That would be misty. Floating continents have been done before, Nifelheim has an armada or airships and their summon seems to be Bahamut.
Again, pure speculation.

If solheim is in a volcano i hope it'll be like the two layered city before costa del rey in ff7, junon?. Otherwise, i'm hoping for a desert solheim city and ice cap/misty sky continent niflheim.
Yes I know that Tenebrae, Solheim and Niflheim are most likely not there, but I just wanted speculate, because its so fun^^
nothing wrong with speculation, i was throwing in mine as well my dear. We should speculate, you know get some ideas out there. I definitely feel the either someone from the party, or some one close (i.e. Cor who's 42) is going to die/betray noctis. I also feel that king regis is going to die/sacrifice himself.

I REALLY hope King Regis doesn't die. He seems like such a nice guy. It'll be Mufasa all over again :bawling:

I think Noc mentions that he's on the lamb at the time of the Leviathan attack, so hopefully he escapes harm.

Some news from this interview:

- Tabata has currently no plans for DLC but he usually likes the idea to expand a game with new content that improves its replayability.
-
Tabata guesses that there are currently ~400 people working on Final Fantasy XV ( inhouse and extern) - ( note: can also be way more at some days)
- They'll talk about minigames after Episode Duscae is out.
- Some people of the development team like the idea of implementing a battle arena in Final Fantasy XV like in FFVII
- You won't be able to leave the road with the car. You'll need other forms of transportation such as Chocobo's for exploration.
- The first scene of Episode Duscae is the 4 guys waking up in a tent

I actually like that you can't drive off the road, it encourages players to find other modes of transport or to walk on foot. In fact I think it was done intentionally as if to "steer" players into exploring the world more, so to speak. Rather than drive pass everything and anything they come across.

What? I guess we won't even be able to control the car in the final game at this rate.
To be fair, there are dirt roads and things like that. The game isn't about driving the car over the hills and running into rocks and shit. I'm glad that you can't do anything with the car. I feel like it will take away from the experience. I can imagine crashing into a lake and them having to work on full car physics just to make it look realistic... then what, the car resets just fine? If the car can easily fix itself from a crash like that, why need a mechanic at all?

Going long distances from point A to B with the car seems like a way to take in the sights and get out when you want to explore the actual area. I'm perfectly happy with this.

Edit: It should be noted that the quote itself from Tabata says
But of course the car obviously can't leave the road and then go into the woods or mountains or plains, in these cases, you have to stop the car and get a chocobo or something.
Which I think is just a matter of fact more than some limiting factor.
