I wonder when did they made the decision to localize it.
If I'm not mistaken, localization began back when they were considering bringing over the PSP version. So quite a long time ago! Though obviously that never came to fruition. As for when they decided to go with a PS4/One remaster, who knows? I wouldn't doubt they've been considering their options with this game since 2011, and I'd assume they at least considered Vita at some point.

I'd like to hear the voice actor who did Senel in Tales of Legendia. I've never heard him again, but he was a great voice actor.
Or maybe Cam Clarke can come back and do a voice. He was great in Grandia 2.

One of the best news i heard by SE. Good news for all the PS4 Owners, but sadly it is all too disappointing that it will not be available on the VITA. Seriously tho, it definitely would have made a difference to the hardware, i honestly don't think it's getting much love xD
Disappointment aside, I'm planning to get this on day one.

Shahid's tweets were pretty odd - made it sound like he actually didn't have a clue himself until the announcement by the PS blogs. Although he did say not to thank him personally. But that was a mighty fuck up on Sony's part to report it as for Vita in the first place. Must have really annoyed a few people.

I get the frustration. Not many people would want to buy a new home console for what was once a portable game. I personally felt like a PS4 port would happen, after SE said they once had it running in HD, but I really believed a Vita version would come right alongside it. I still think it will, really. But the fans need to speak out about it to ensure it happens...but not in a hateful manner. If it doesn't come to Vita in the end, we really should still be thankful for it coming here at all. I know I am.

I understand you feelings man, but there are lots of RPGs on Vita so far. With more coming. They may not be Square's but they're loved games. Persona 4, Ys Celceta, soon to be Freedom Wars, Chaos Rings, Tales of Hearts R soon too, Ragnarok Odyssey ACE, Toukiden, Soul Sacrifice, and even Conception 2 (fun battle system as I saw in demo, but weak story though). So if you have a Vita, play those and maybe they'll bring Agito to it down the line.

Oh it's just not me actually, a lot of VITA users actually expected it on VITA and i agree there is still hope for it, there are lots of RPGs on it. Optimistically speaking, i still think SE can show some love to VITA not right now ofc, but later in the future :) Thanks for the reply tho, i kinda feel optimistic about it now :)

With Final Fantasy Type-0 going to consoles, there is no good reason to continue thinking Square Enix will be giving strong support to the PSVita from here on out. Not bringing it to the platform just tells me that they're not confident in it and I can't blame them because western sales are pretty terrible and Sony doesn't seem like they're trying to save it or making the right moves to do so. Yeah... Shahid is trying to get games for it but they're not games that will sell hardware, which is what they need right now.

It's not smart to buy a PSVita right now expecting to play brand new Square Enix games on it.
