That image definitely summarises how i feel right now! I've had chance to think through this rumoured delay and it might not be entirely a bad thing. It's going to be embarrassing for Square in the short term (with all the fuss they made about the Uncovered Event!), but people aren't going to be remember a two month delay in the long term if the game is fully polished and the best it can be.
After watching the final brotherhood episode and Kingsglaive, i'm going to put FFXV to the back of my mind and focus on other things until the rumoured new release date. My hype and anticipation has definitely been dampened and i'm still very disappointed if there is a delay, but hopefully this is for the best and we can all look back on FFXV fondly in the future!

Man, I'd be laughing quite a bit if this didn't mean that I won't be able to play this until fucking February. Uncharted 4 was already hard, and that was just a month of waiting and for a much less anticipated game.
Oh, well. I just hope we get another Dawn trailer announcing the new date so that we can all laugh even more

That's not an answer to my question, that is an accusation based on an assumption. I don't see the relevance of it seeing as I don't recall me (or Lulcielid for that matter) claiming that the rumors must be false (or true for that matter)
This is a thread about the delay rumors, so posting any information or speculation regarding it should be quite normal. If this isn't the intention, then perhaps the lock on this thread would have been better.

A lot of stuff is grasping at straws and ridiculous, but not all of them.
That's neither here nor there though, seeing as that's pretty much the whole point of this thread. I personally am leaning towards believing the delay rumor and if that's the case I'm in support of it. Since I'd rather wait longer for a better game, then play a worse game sooner. So this has nothing to do with my personal wishes or thoughts.
But this thread is here, it's about the delay rumor, and people will post information regarding the rumor (as is the point). At this point it would be better for some people to simply ignore this whole thread rather than looking down on others for sharing some information. In that case a lock on the thread would be better. We can then simply wait for official word from SE.

She said more than that before that specific comment. As well as others. Heck, look at the response I got for asking why the status quo should be that the rumors must be true.
