I'm not posting all of the dialogue with the Kings, but here is what everyone probably wants to know.

His Datalog and Bestiary I assume:

Yes, the Mystic is the Founder King, Ardyn's brother, and was Somnus (!!!!) Lucis Caelum.
Now we know where the main them song's name comes from.


Here are the Fierce's and the Rogue's as well:

It seems that one of the other tasks you have to do in the Royal Edition is to quell fires around the city (not sure about this):

(Cor is also hurt for some reason I can't pinpoint)


There are other things pertaining to the side missions and things like Cor and Noct having heartfelt dialogue about Regis and about Noctis being born. Not posting it, its a lot of text and you all have enough to think aboutXD


Last little bit for you Iris fans (its phone dialogue but FUCK MAN):

But Noct wanted to talk to her about something? I guess we'll never know what sadly but I guess we can make a few assumptions.

Also really SE? You named him "Somnus"? XD Yeahh, I'm totally sure that was the true intention for that name all alonggg~~. But since you decided to go that route, make a "Versus" DLC with Somnus as the main character. :V

The thing is, it goes along with all of the other ways most people from the Crown City are named (Regis, Clarus, Iris, Ignis, Gladiolus, and Noctis) and always sounded like another name to me. I actually wouldn't be surprised if a lot of this was more withheld information about the lore instead of it being entirely new/made up stuff.

Maybe if there was even a hint about this in the OG game, but considering this a year off and refers heavily to a theme song that's been in the game for 10 years? Nah, they definitely made this after the fact.

I'm not hating on it, but I do hope they explore that avenue since they opened it up now.

Btw @Paperchampion23 , did you download the "totally legit" copy of XV WE? I did so but decided to not play it because the DLC isn't working atm. Though looking through the files, the Royal content(and everything else) is definitely there. I'm guess the exe from the demo might not be able to access that content though as it seems like it's based off of an older build.

Ah well, gotta wait until it officially releases tomorrow~

I'm thinking it was the Oracle of that time's name now. Only other possible reason it could have any importance at this point. Also I'm a bit worried by Somnus' dialogue now. I'm hoping that him asking Noct to save Ardyn is less about him being the infallible good guy all along and more about him coming to realize that he was wrong for being a dick to Ardyn back then and that he's the real victim in all this. Part of what greatly interests me about Ardyn's story is that it doesn't seem like the Starscourge was what drove him over the edge but instead it was the "good guys" irrationally jumping to conclusions and casting him out that did it. I really hope they don't get rid of that moral ambiguity especially in light of the pocket edition dialogue and Talcott confirming even in the base game that there are records of Ardyn being hailed as a saviour.

@MitchellProductions, I have not. Too much effort for something coming out in 2 days. It's likely just that nobody can install the actual DLC files to the game, plus the March 6th update will provide compatibility with the Royal Pack so I have a feeling it's just impossible to access until that patch is released.

Just search up LemonEatingKow on YouTube tomorrow, he's pretty good about getting new content out early due to living in Australia.
