    If Final Fantasy Versus XV doesn't happen, I bet someone is going to try and make Final Fantasy Versus XIII in Unreal Engine 4

    @BladeRunner I doubt it would get C&D especially if no one knows about it until it's close to release, and if it get's C&D someone else will take whatever assets from the original project, and finish it.

    My expected results:
    An even more messed up story
    Good gameplay
    They will get to part 1 of the story, at most.

    You know with a couple of edits this could actually be a FFXV "sequel" just give it a read Ardyn being one of the first beings created by Etro that could easily tie into FFXV's ending, Etro or a fal'Cie or God recreating the world of Eos, I'd go with the fal'Cie one because it would make the most sense, to find Etro's gate.

    Also change the Gladio stuff I like FFXV Gladio better, it's mainly the villains and side characters I would want changed.
    Also Shiva is fine. I'd rather it just be Noctis who dies, or all the Chocobros die, then you see the ending of FFXV where Noctis and Luna are on the throne, and Gladio, Ignis, and Prompto show up, and Prompto says were back.

    there was a reason why they took FNC elements out, probably because they wanted to avoid any association since XIII saga was so unpopular; this still holds true today, so i don't see them reusing FNC elements at all.

    @Storm I think the removal of the elements had more to do with making it a numbered title, because Type-0 HD was released with the FNC intact if they truly were afraid of the FNC they wouldn't have made a Type-0 HD, and from the looks of it, they didn't exactly have that many FNC elements in it, throughout all the trailers there is no mention of fal'Cie, l'Cie, just Etro.

    @Storm It also could have for time reasons, because we don't exactly know how long it would have taken to develop certain parts of FFXV with the FNC inside of it. I don't think anyone would be adverse to Etro showing up since she barely had any screen time in the FNC anyway.

    In fact for a Versus XV to work just include as much FNC references as Type-0

    From the ashes Versus XIII, XV was made, now out of the ashes of XV, Versus XV will be made.

    But seriously if Versus XV does get made, It won't be a singular game it will be a trilogy of games.

    Seriously though with the amount of changes to FFXV you can make a Final Fantasy XV Earth-2

    @SonOfEtro If they do make a Kingsglaive game, and a Versus XV is on the cards or is happening, I suspect the plot of the game won't be the plot of the movie, unless Versus XV has Luna in it. I also suspect that if a Versus XV ever does happen well it will be like the FF7 Remake possibly a trilogy.

    I think the idea behind the Kingsglaive game , according to the 4chan leak ,after this game come out , it will serve as basis ( along side XV ) for Versus XV. I have to remind you that they made the Kingsglaive movie, because they were not able design the Insomnia segment in Versus. According to Tabata , it would take 3 years to design that segment alone.

    @Edge I think that's the case because Square had to get FFXV out by 2016, but the assets for Kingslaive game is there just might need to make some new ones, they can take 2-3 years to make a game out of it.

    Im happy XV is getting extra content though dlc, I want them to add so much in.
