When I say this, I am looking at how long FFXIII from the start of Full production till it's release.
FFXIII got announced in 2006 and get release 4 years later in 2010 ( worldwide), Japan got it earlier in December 2009.
If we use the same time frame from Full Production till it's release for FFXV. If it doesn't come worldwide Japan will likely get it this holiday season, with a Spring 2015 for the rest of the world. If it comes world wide it will probably come within the months of April-May 2015.
Full Production for FFXV started in 2011, 4 years from then is 2015. I know it seems like a coincidence to be in 2015. However, if we go by Full Production track record, that would suggest a 2014 ( Japan) 2015 ( Rest of the world or Worldwide).
With that in mind and if that is indeed the case, FFXV will most likely be at E3 this year.
