Same, I almost wish we got this outfit for Noctis as a reward for completing EP Ardyn instead of his other one. I also find the weapon design of the God's Will weapon reminiscent of the Blade of the Mystic/Rakshasa Blade, as if before it got corrupted. It's really cool and wish it was in FFXV.
I'm still disappointed at how bad the Ardyn outfit looks on Noctis. That suit is made for a pretty hefty man that easily stands at about a good 6 feet (approximately 183 cm) and doesn't look good on Noctis' leaner and more petite build. If anything they should have just given Noctis Somnus' outfit or just used the concept outfit from Versus as the cosmetic unlock. Both would've been better options than the Ardyn outfit imo.

I've done some quick bulletpoint translations.

Those interviewed are Yuki Matsuzawa (lead concept artist and 15 year company veteran) and Saya Nakahara(?) (Project Manager and newcomer as she's only been there for a year).

*The key atmosphere at Luminous appears to be a combination of high communication and stoicism. The latter can be summarised as..."they don't give up until the last minute"?. But no-one says anything is impossible.
*Nakahara oversees budget and production so everyone else can just focus on making things, while Matsuzawa makes sure everyone isn't trapped in their own little creative bubble.
*Their mysterious new internationally-aimed IP is in its...early or pre-production stage? Basically they're nailing down its design. They've got some things pinned down, others are still in flux.
*They want everything to be as clear as possible before moving forward with production, as if it's not clear in everyone's minds there will be drifting and difficulties. This is particularly crucial because it's a new IP.
*They're aiming for realistic graphics within reason, but don't want to go overboard and make it "boring"...as many Western titles are being with their focus on photorealism.
*They are basically now a pseudo-independent subsidiary of Square Enix rather than an internal development team. Sort of like Monolith Soft is for Nintendo. Their project is still using the Luminous Engine, and includes staff from FFXV. Interesting titbit about their working conditions; they have a "fixed time" working environment; in 9:30 AM and out 18:00 PM, leaving the staff time for evening leisure activities and family time so they don't burn out on a project. And I'm a little disturbed to say this, but that's something to be really pleased about in Japan because it's not the norm...

EDIT NOTE: Sounds to me like they're doing their damnedest to make sure the Versus/XV fiasco doesn't happen again.

Matsuzawa also states that while he was Concept Artist before he is now Art Director. Personally that's something I was really hoping for since Matsuzawa has become probably my favourite artist at SE, his artwork that he did for XV was amazing and always had these really emotive moods, and to be able to see a game following his art direction I think is one of the best descisions they've made so far regarding what they're doing for the new IP, aside from also keeping it under wraps until they're ready to show it.

Hajime Tabata announced his company JP Games is planning for a new project among their plans for 2020. He also states TPDT "must be" out by 2020 Paralympic Games. HT: "We also started preparing for a new project. From next year our team will grow bigger". =

Pardon me as I talk about original project and I know how it can be upseting since some v13 fan are very pushy and annoying.

It is just a simple random talk post but I still find it very impressive that they sudently lifted the versus xiii ban that was going on in the SE intern. I know many game if not all of them have alpha version. Like seventeen for ff10 (if you don't know about it please check it out) and I wish we had more artworks, talk about some original concept of what became FFXV

Like we never really got to know about prompto sickness from Duscae demo and according to the rarity of the talk I wonder if it was really planed to be showed up in the demo tbh. Funny how noctis was sick too when you think about it.

Same thing goes with the never filmed demo of the game in really early alpha stage of developement that was showed to some journalist (gameblog, a French website, had a whole video talk about it I remember listening to) it's very interesting. Through this demo was most likely there to shows that the game wasn't dead, back when there was rumor of it being canceled.

Also is the train station in the data? I recall the cat video... man.. I wanna know more about all this I just find it, captivating and interesting.

And still, I wish we had more about stella. I find this character really pretty and still kinda disappointed her model got unused.

I really wonder what nomura is planing with his verum rex thingies... I wish he could just throw us all his original ideas and move on from it, kinda scared for Kingdom hearts, if I may say.

This needs to become more of a norm in Japan in general. There's a huge cultural problem over there where overworking to the extreme is the norm.

Yeah. And people wonder why their birth rate is plumetting.

I didn't realise how much work Matsuzawa had done with the company. I found this article on the concept art for Murdered: Soul Suspect. And... It's amazing. Makes me wish they could've preserved some of the concepts he created.
