FFXV's Google Stadia version will be a launch title for the platform. Not interested myself, but it's nice to see a modern high spec JRPG in a launch line-up again.

ahh those type of minigames gives extra utility to flying regalia, which was only technically useful to access Pitioss.

seeing Deathgaze is really cool, I wonder how to the Expert Duel works.

making this content exclusive to Stadia would be ridiculous.

Don't want to put up with input lag I'd like to believe the new challenge mode will make its way through other platforms sooner or later.

I find that unlikely, they haven't put the "Avatara" PC feature to console yet so I doubt they will put this Stadia content as well.

SE isn't going to add these new modes to other plattforms. Making annoying exclusive features for new releases is SE standard behaviour. Like FFXII has basic stuff like resetting jobs exclusive to Switch and Xbox. They honestly should be called out for this shit a lot more.

That's right, I hope they release "crazy challenges" to the other consoles.

These re-releases are all very well. But I want something new! XV's run its course, let us have at least a hint of XVI. Or some proper new FF spin-off that isn't a reskin or a remake (Looking at you, Chocobo Every Buddy).

These add ons are after thoughts. Like most of FFXV content unfortunately. I doubt it will be added in until they make us repurchase it for the next gen consoles, if it's available (FFXIII wasn't). In a hypothetical situation I would love all this extra content that they added in for the past two years to be properly integrated into the game. I recently decided to replay it and one thing that always irks me is how the extra content is now just in your inventory (Magitek Armor, All the Random DLC weapons), how chunks of content is missing (Comrades/ Carnival/ Festival), how jarring the the crossover events are, etc. I would kill for a reimagining of FFXV. Like an actual proper start with a prologue of Noctis in Insomnia, maybe a retelling of the invasion with Noctis being present, better magic system, rescaling of enemies so the Bros actually have a use, the DLC being fully integrated into the main game, etc. That's too much to ask for. I know.

oh it seems those new additions are only available on the main menu, Challenge quests tab.

nothing like actually including them organically on the main game, more fragmented content!

kinda off topic but im playing last of us now and boy, i wish ff xv could stay on ps3! im playing the remastered edition because that was easier to find, but as far as i,ve seen this game already looks amazing on ps3. it's not open world but as i remember versus wasn't going to be too (small maps? something like that). these abandoned cities were great to walk around, wish insomnia could stay that way

Honestly I'm happy with Insomnia at this point. We got to see it back in its heyday with Episode Ardyn and an expanded version of its ruins with the Royal Edition. There's not much more you can do with it at this point. Even back in the Versus days it looked like its only purpose was to serve as an introduction to the world of Eos before you got kicked out after the invasion.
