in the original translation the words "Heaven, earth, aversion. Great, small, return", as pointed out by another user, are similar to Leviathan's speech:

"Heaven and Earth, High and Deep, Birth and Return..."

the Light almost can be seen as a god, the judeo-christian god is also plenty of times compared to light; if we assume there are other leftovers from the FNC mythos, we could even say this Light is Bhunivelze; unfortunately its not mentioned outside of this song so there's not much to take from it.
Oh, time for a breakdown.

As to the first line. This is someone/something speaking directly to the Astrals. It is something which governs the very cycle of life, and granted the "stone". This most likely means the Crystal. Something that someone in Reddit noted was that "Petras" is actually plural; the singular would be "Petra". Also, the original Latin doesn't seem to use gender nouns, so I'm going with the original translation here rather than imposing a "he".

The next few lines are blindingly obvious; they're referring to the conflict between light and dark that's central of XV's lore. It also firmly establishes that while the "king" or "mighty warrior" will fell all before him, death will not be stayed.

On the whole, this looks like XV's lore through and through, and it implies that there is a power beyond the Astrals that likely equates to Eos itself. If XV's developers cared that much, they would've likely changed the lyrics. Developers have changed entire soundtracks before now, never mind the lyrics to a single song.

I thought Bahamut gifted mankind with the Crystal?

The "Revelation" mentioned there is what apocolypsis means in Latin, in reference to the trials with the Astrals themselves that the king must go through. Bahamut says that the Light of Providence is a power greater than that of the Astrals, the Crystal, the Ring and the Glaives of rulers past, and only the Chosen King can receive it.

Bahamut (and the Astrals) granted the Lucian kings access to the Ring of the Lucii, and the Oracle with her trident. But the Crystal itself was produced by the planet.

And yeah, I got that bit about apocalypse being the revelation.

I always assumed the Crystal is the force above the Astrals considering it has the ability to bestow enough power upon the chosen king that he's then able to defeat a force of evil not even they can destroy. Everyone's goal including the Astrals' appears to be serving and helping to fulfill the Crystal's will otherwise such powerful beings have no real reason to yield to a mere (admittedly pretty damn powerful) mortal. Everything in FFXV's lore points to the Crystal being at the top of the divine hierarchy otherwise the Astrals would've been able to get shit done on their own or Noctis could've just gotten by with their blessings alone but it all came down to the Crystal and even Ardyn makes it pretty apparent that the Crystal is where Noct's ultimate power will come from meaning the Astrals are really only there for backup and guidance.

I'm not sure I'd say the Crystal is the force above the Astrals as much as that it's produced by the force above the Astrals, presumably the Star itself. It still holds a power greater than the Astrals, but there's no real suggestion that it's capable of consciously influencing others.

yeah i remember reading that interview in 1997

that part of Regis talking to someone that he can't become king was always the most interesting part since it suggested a second unknown heir or an impostor.

I kind of always assumed it was gladio's dad since in versus he was going to be more of regis' brother? i think so... btw i liked more his old design. he looked way too old and fragile in movie, not really a good shield :0
