Since this is the start of FF30th anniversary plans there is actually PLENTY of reasons to hyped for it.

Unless the only thing your hyped for is something that almost certainly does not exist. "cough cough"

But don't worry, the FF1-9 PS4 comp that I'm most hyped for(other than FF7 remake), might not exist either, so I maybe disappointed too, but I don't see any reason not to be excited at this point.

There's no reason to be excited about it because Square Enix doesn't want us to be excited about it. They haven't even mentioned it since its initial announcement (December 19th) so they certainly don't want to have any big spotlight on the event. It's a closed opening ceremony exclusively for a few chosen japanese fans to celebrate the 30th anniversary, not an E3 keynote.

Remember that this is the same company that was hyping up the announcement of Spelunker Z. If they had anything noteworthy to announce, we obviously would've heard "something" about it. But we're now 5 hours away from the start of the event and it's still radio silence.

They also said they were going to say their plans like three days before they said the date, there really is nothing that needed to be said before the event, it was hyped a month beforehand. Also januray 31st? Something of substance will happen, maybe big, maybe not.

From what I understand, they will be revealing parts of the planned projects in conjunction with the 30th Anniversary.

Whoa that's a lot earlier than I expected. I thought it would've taken a lot longer for the DLC episodes.

I hope they're pretty far along in the development phase.

I wonder how long the episodes will be?


Edit: there's no live stream for this is there?

People were expecting release date with a trailer for VIIR, got VISUAL KEY ART, i just can't

Seems like FFXV DLC's is only redeemable things for this event
