It's 7:20am here in Australia and I wake up to a bunch of reviews for this game.
Skimmed some of the reviews. Disappointed about the concensus on the story, but playing Judgment Demo last night at a friends house was so much fun.
I already know I'm going to have heaps of fun playing this game with a ton of hours invested into it.
I'm quite surprised at IGN's score tbh... lower than I expected. But then I never took that site's scores seriously since they have given very questionable scores in the past.
Just goes to show that, although as fans we want nothing more than to see this game be critically successful, scores are not gospel, even though that's easier said than done
Good to keep in mind that scores are affected by the period of time in the gaming industry they are given, as hard as that may be to remember at times.
I'd say it's doing pretty well for a game that was in development hell for 10 years, and for a title where the director had to sort out someone else's mess.
Not too many games could have survived such a feat imo.
