It's great to hear that they're still listening to feedback with a week until release. I noticed in the previews one of the most common complaints was the need to watch Kingsglaive to help understand some aspects of the story, so it's great to see them address this with short clips.

At the moment this forum is the only place I'm visiting for FFXV news and discussion. It's the only place I can trust to not get spoilt and I'm really appreative of it. I'm also on a self imposed YouTube ban for a while now! I'd be interested in watching IGN's special event coverage tommorow, but feel I've seen enough footage now.

Next Thursday I have time booked off work and it can't come soon enough.

Maybe BD2 was always planning on having contextual scenes from Kingsglaive in the game, but space restrictions prevented it.

And I'm with you re: this forum. We seem to be a reasonable (and civil) group here - remarkable in and of itself, especially for a video game forum.

Is that an official translation, or is that just taken from the Famitsu article? Japanese is notoriously ambiguous with regards to singular vs. plural.

Thats Famitsu translation from Dualshockers, they always been on point with this. I trust Giuseppe Nelva.

What if you trust both Nelva and Romano? (Like I do)

@Lulcielid Nelva covered alot of Japan info for this game even minor ones, noone of the other sites did that. CEDEC, SIGGRAPH stuff, i think it was all his work.
Not gonna make bold statements, but there is only one set piece from Kingsglaive that will fit the game very well. Kingsglaive SPOILER:

I think consumers who can't play right now and have to deal with all this bullshit on internet is more mad. Consider me as one of them, im really mad because thats whole situation makes me overthink myself, rely on others people opinions or impressions, and playing out all the "what if" scenarios about this game in my head.

Oh, believe me when I say that I feel that, especially as I won't be able to play it even next Tuesday (or, if I do so, I won't be able to get far into the game).

The small glimpses of KG during JD were pretty mediocre and awkward, but now they're adding more, so let's see how they look like in the final product.

Yeah, that's why I said that. Let's see how the whole thing fits. I'm also assuming that we're not only getting the peace treaty signing itself, as there a few other things that seem to be important (or at least, have some consequences) in the main game.

Gonna be hard staying away from everything for the next week. It's just habbit at this point when I'm bored at work, I hop between the various boards seeing what's going on. I've accidentally passively opened up g-faqs like 5 times this morning.

I have to imagine it's pretty much "what?? The ending is xxx and yyy happens? I have no context or frame of reference for that, so I'm going to act out and say that sucks!" That's why they call them spoilers, folks.

Omg just finished watching the extended trailer and

that orchestral version of Somnus at 7:56! It's sublime! Almost sounds like a boss theme or perhaps used for a very touching moment.

If the mods actually did their job it wouldn't be that bad... but they don't. Got a warning for calling out a troll for blatant racism. Go gamefaq mods...
