Right, that's what I mean. It's one thing to bring up real legitimate concerns and observations. It's quite another to just desperately search for something to nitpick. It's so transparent every time, and if you say anything, it's all "what? Can't handle opinions?" bullshit.

While on the other side you get a Kingdom Hearts trailers showing Aqua getting beat up by two guys. They don't say shit then xD

Jesus Christ, the reason I left Gamefaqs was because you couldn't have a reasonable discussion before the thread turned into calling names. And no, negative comments towards XV don't come exclusively from old Versus XIII fans.

Im not even that twisted to come to the conclusion that Aqua is some weak character being abused just because she's being pummelled by two guys. But there's others who just love to cement it as fact that Luna is weak and being abused while having being pretty much in the same scenario as Aqua (although we do have more context to work with in Aquas case).
What makes such people go to the length of downplaying a Character with no real solid knowledge of the whole picture especially when dismissing the fact that another character is in a simliar or the same situation?

So what do you guys think the Epilogue thing is going to be like?
The loading screen said "Epilogue" instead of "Chapter X" (I did miss the first few minutes of the stream, just watched this part) and something among the lines of "here you can do whatever the fuck you want while roaming the world freely".
I'm guessing it's the post-game content thing. And I'm guessing it's the "going back to previous areas through a menu" thing Tabata talked about, with the timeskip marking the point of no return. So I'm guessing it's not a situation where you, as Noctis and co, say "Ok, let's leave this Niflheim stuff aside and let's go back to Lucis to kill innocent Garulas" and it basically goes back in time.
A shame if it's like that, as I wanted to roam the world with the new designs and abilities and items (maybe even Summons if Ifrit isn't obtainable until then, although I really doubt it) you potentially get in later areas. But I'm talking outta my ass and they could have very well chosen to omit that (I THINK that they didn't even have all the Royal Weapons?).

I don't share this sentiment and I'm not gonna argue in favor of it, but you could at least try to actually understand where the criticism is coming from and then try refuting it instead of attacking this straw man. It's not about a single occurance of a character being attacked but their overall portrayal. It's about context, and it's different for Aqua and Luna.
We understand where the criticism is coming from. The problem with this topic is that the people bringing it up aren't listening to anything anyone else is saying. It's running with a preconceived notion and making more of an issue out of it than may be necessary with incomplete info.
If the full game comes out and they're all totally right about it, then we can actually have a civil discussion about it.

Right, I can see this being a thing as well. But my point is with the info we have right now, you can look at it either way because there's just not enough information. Too many holes in the narrative. And that's why there can't be a rational conversation about it. Because, just like some of the Versus stuff, people are filling in their own blanks and using it to make emotional arguments. We just need the whole story to have a real conversation there.
