Square Enix has nothing to announce regarding an Android version at this time.

Would be interesting if they'd patch that in with the PS4 version of the original game (and possibly the Steam version). Turning off encounters is a feature I really like.

I wish they could do something more big, like enabling the battle models to be used on the field as well.

And no, I know nothing of modding...

Square Enix doesn't really seem to care about the Steam versions, almost two years on and no word on patching VIII's music.
