It's a plausible idea, if you think about it.
The hype video said "I bet people's heads will explode when they here about *beep*".
IMO I think they're not referring to Kingdom Hearts.
That kind of exaggeration is reserved to something we won't normally expect.
Or something we already wanted, and now they're granting it.
Thus, the remake.

In all honesty, I think it would be a waste to put resources into a VII remake.
Also, Siliconera has a terrible method of journalism.

All official PS accounts have been going through all the years of E3 and highlighting key titles. No point singling the FF7 one out.

If it does happen, I hope they're not announcing it for the hell of it with hardly any actual development done on it. I want some actual footage from at least a year's work on it.

Either way, I have no expectations. Siliconera just posts this shit with no source and expects us to believe it? Credibility points if they aren't lying, but if not, hoo boy.
