Wan Hazmer, the lead game designer on Final Fantasy XV and previously a game designer on Final Fantasy Type-0 has revealed to me via Twitter that his dream is to direct a video game.
Hajime Tabata, the director of both titles mentioned above has recently said he doesn't want to direct two titles at once again and has expressed he wants to do a Type-1, if he does go on to direct Type-1 after XV and Square Enix doesn't want to waste the resources of XV they've spent a decade on Wan Hazmer seems like the perfect person to helm a sequel. Plus, he speaks fluent English like Tai Yasue, the co-director of the Kingdom Hearts series, which is very exciting for international marketing.
