Demo Summon is Ramuh

And here is the complete English Episode Duscae Demo Ending. There is an interesting scene here at the end, also the mention of a character "Lunafreya Nox Fleuret".

How many Phantom Swords are in the demo? I have 4 so far, maybe there's more?

Let's start from a quick analysis of this artwork from the ending trailer.

The female at the top of the picture is definitely the goddess Etro - the same character that is featured in FFXV's logo. The old man on the right looks a lot like Ramuh. If so, then the characters next to him are probably Shiva and Titan. On the left we clearly see Siren and the guy she's hugging is probably also an Eidolon, but I'm not sure which one (Diablos? humanized Bahamut?). In the right corner there's Leviathan pierced by a spear, and on the other side there's an octopus uncannily similar to our long-time friend Ultros. Maybe he's also an Eidolon? That would be sick!

Now, the four guys in the center might be some representation of our four bros. One of them seems to be summoning those swords around them.

And then those guys around Etro... hmmm... who the hell might they be? Some knights or kings or what?

Looks like summons has been hinted. 5 of them maybe. Ramuh, Titan, Shiva, wing angel (Bahamut?) and mermaid (Siren?). Even a creature resembling Ultros and a group that may be Knights of the Round. The ending slides felt a bit dark. I loved it.

Or wait there was one in the dungeon that I found but I couldn't use Noctis' phantom sword special ability by now.

btw. is it possible to fight the Behemoth again without restarting the demo?

That's a neat analysis @BladeRunner. Gonna be honest, at the instant I saw that pic I did not even think twice that all that was in there. I gonna assume this is all the summons that will be present in the game.

At what point do you get the ability to use the phantom swords? I haven't seen the player get it in any of the gameplay I've watched for some reason. I've seen people using the ability, but never the exact point where you get it.

At what point do you get the ability to use the phantom swords? I haven't seen the player get it in any of the gameplay I've watched for some reason. I've seen people using the ability, but never the exact point where you get it.

You start out with the Aqesiro which provides your passive abilities, Warp-strike [ R1 + X ] and Warp-dodge [ L1 + O ]. These can be used whenever you want, and Warp-strike is actually taught to you in the tutorial section at the start, but isn't actually a part of Noct's regular abilities. Warp-dodge is a form of evasion that more veteran players will appreciate using that functions as a normal dodge move that can avoid attacks. It's very useful to trigger your Counter weapon strike as well as general dodging as it provides the invincibility frames that regular dodging uses while allowing you to move in whatever direction you use it in.

As for what you will see people activate as "Armiger" (meaning arms bearer) which is triggered with [ L1 + R1 ] is acquired from your first found phantom sword. This weapon is called Secace and will allow you to engage Knightswords with the aforementioned button combo. This is likely what you're referring to and what has been seen in past trailers.

You also get Galatine which supposedly gives you the power of the Knightshield which is activated by [ Hold L1 ] but I actually don't know how it works. It doesn't seem to provide anything different than your standard guard... if someone understands how this works, please let me know.

Lastly is Rhongomyniad which provides a passive ability of Knightsguard, simply press [ L1 ] when you are hit and you will recover from the attack. Think of it like when you get hit by a large enemy, you fall down and need to get back up. Using Knightsguard allows you to recover from the attack. What's interesting about Knightsguard, is that you will actually take the damage from the hit, but then recover it on successful guard.

If someone knows how the fuck Galatine works, please let me know...

As for Galatine, have you tried blocking while in Armiger mode? Does it give you the passive ability to block projectiles maybe?

There actually is a description of it in the Help menu that I never noticed before it does mention projectiles. Think back to the old Versus and the E3 XV trailer where Noctis is being shot at with bullets and the swords are deflecting them. That's basically what it is. I'm pretty sure that you don't need to be in Knightswords to actually activate it, but I'm not really sure, I'm going to bed now and I've been playing the demo for quite some time now... I'll do some testing later.

Also, does the magicite you find in the demo do anything?

BTW, one question, do you think there'll be more levels beyond 100?
Because it seems that leveling is quite fast (maybe it's just the demo, or maybe the people I've watched play really like grinding lol).

I can't wait for them to show the actual game (but not spoil it too much, pls). Duscae is pretty, but it's time for something new. And the magic system, I really want to see that.

Maybe they're Noctis ancestors? Like, old Kings and all that (remember that Regis is the 113th monarch of his kingdom, so it's a reaaaaally old bloodline). Or maybe Lucis Knights (like those present in the fight between Idola and Regis)? Anyways, yeah, those four guys in the middle seem to reflect the four main characters.

Although having the Knights of the Round Table again, potentially having a significant role in the plot... oh, man.

Maaaaan, that painting is so great. I know it won't happen, but wouldn't it be great if XVI had designs like that? It'd be a huge departure from Nomura's style, which is something the series really need after XV releases. And the serious, mysterious, apocalyptic atmosphere there is amazing, it could lend for a really cool plot.

BTW, although I have some "worries", I still think she's still in the game, as I don't think changing her name makes much sense, considering we knew very little of her before (so we wouldn't know what would have changed) and that both names have the same motif (night), so again, it'd be a little absurd. And they've been really coy about it, if she had been axed or dramatically changed, I don't think they'd be avoiding the question for so long.

Also, her dress is really different compared to Stella's dress in Lucis. It might have been changed, of course, but iirc, none of Roen costumes (from the 2011 trailer) have been changed, so it'd be weird changing the all white dress for a blue one. Time will tell!

What if... what if that picture is from the past and that pic is going to be the future too, so noctis have must change he's own fate by killing etro and he's own father (maybe regis familly always stand with etro side like some kind of templars.. etc..)well i hope the true plot is not gonna be something easy like this..

The hooded thing that helds the spear/ or scythe looks like the Grim Reaper statues that can be found everywhere in Lucis. So it's probably Lucis' summon.
