I generally think positively of Angry Joe's review content. His persona is something that you have to acclimatise to, as the jokes are bad, he shouts too much, and the costume getup scenes can extend way too long. But his reviews are good for the depth and the articulation that he finely goes into, picking apart feature after feature thoroughly, which is something that you won't ordinarily find in other reviews, be they written or in video form. Sometimes I do notice that he may giddy on some of the hype himself, depending on the game, but as a whole, I think his review of Watch Dogs will be a fair one, though I've not seen it yet.
Watch Dogs seems to be your typical Ubisoft game, I suppose. Certain "watch" towers like in Assassin's Creed, board games, a wealth of collectibles and side missions that end up becoming repetitive, and very likely, an uncompelling plot and characters. Though I was initially excited to begin with, this game eventually became something I would probably pick up at a fraction of the price 2 years down the line at a whim. As it stands, Ubisoft's other new IP, The Division, holds more promise.
