After seeing a lot of the threads you've posted, i can tell you REALLY love the classics(same here). Final Fantasy Dimensions has that classic touch, with a slight side of modern elements. The story(i won't spoil it) switches from 2 different group's perspectives. Instead of it just being about the heroes of light, it is about both the heroes of light, and heroes of darkness. The story is a mix of both political and supernatural conflicts. The gameplay is your usual FF turn based combat. But i warn you, battles in this game are very challenging, ESPECIALLY the boss battles, so make sure you are constantly leveling up and upgrading your party member's gear.
The characters in the story(8 protagonists) you may like, although there are 3 specific protagonists which a lot of people(myself included) hate the living hell out of. Other than that, it's a pretty decent game with a great story.
