I wanna see more summons! Very interested to see how your party will use them. I think they're supposed to discuss them at jumpfest.

What summon are you peeps most excited to see revealed? I think mine is Odin

I'm really excited to see the Bahamut design in XV and also hoping for a return of Doomstrain. There are already a few hints for some ( I think 5) summons in the trailers. I think I'll make a videos about it ....soon.

I wonder how they summons will play ? Some interesting posibilities :
  • Diference in scale befween each one.
  • The more OP the summon , higher cost to summon it.
  • The more OP the summon, the less time it will stay fighting before dismissing.
  • They dismiss either by 0 HP or a dismiss command/time limit.
  • Summoning conditions.
  • The summons are "equipable" and can change your stats (like FFVII-VIII), though i dont mine if they dont use this feature.
  • Either Noctis alone can summon them or each one of the party can, i'm fine.
Note : the cost could be losing "X"amound of HP/MP+negative status and after dismissing a "reload time" before being use again. Summons like carbuncle lasting for 1 min with 3 mins reload time but other like Bahamut lasting 10 s and reload time of 30mins.
Each summon should have specific conditions to summon them , like leviathan cant be summon in place that lacks water or ifrit in cold snowing enviroment. Most of this limitations are for preventing the player from spaming them and not turning the summons in game breakers.

Having been spending a lot of time with it, I really hope that the larger monster fights in FF15 are as dynamic (and optional) as the Dragons that roam the environment in Dragon Age Inquisition. Great sense of awe to look at, often unbeatable when you first see them, something to remember and come back to later... so very memorable.

If I have to theorize about the origin of Leviathan, I'd say he was deep in slumber below the depths of Accordo. But 'it' was awakened by the chaos of war, due to Niflheim's invasion.

Also, I wonder if the recurring summons would be hugely epic, like the ones found in this image from FFXIV A Realm Reborn.

Oh god, they added Naga. Those things used to freak me out as a kid. And it's 3D now, with the realism, and that damn face, <shivers>.

I wonder if certain monster come out at specific times of day. (Ex: say Goblins are out 24/7, while Nagas come out at night, and Wyverns come out at day.) IMO, that would be pretty interesting.
